This is one of the fanciest Witherspoon's I have been in - it is huge, with lovely seating inside and out.
The food was average for spoons, and pairs wonderfully with many pints of alcoholic beverages. The staff were nice, however my group was asked for ID 5 times - not a fan of that.
This is a pubstaurant - much beyond a typical pub and a very relaxing and laid back place. Plenty of food to choose from and plenty of differently styled sitting areas to suit your mood, weather and requirements
The service was great and the staff was wonderful
I would definitely go back
First time visit, a big Wetherspoon compared to the one near where I live. Plenty of space /dining inside and out. The staff are friendly and the service was very efficient. Food was piping hot and very tasty, my Father really enjoyed his curry, so much so, we came back again in the week and had a different curry! All in all a good experience. Plenty of inexpensive parking nearby too.
Well what an amazing pub - definitely barged its way into my top 10 spoons. A spoons that leaves its traditional decor far behind and embraces a wonderful meter of old and new. First of all, outside: how much seating does one place require? Heaps apparently and it's all here on all three sides. The bar is opposite the main entrance with a good deal of seating in front of it. Then it's down some stairs (although there is a little lift for those who need it) to a warren of little rooms and seating areas spread over the level. The staff were very friendly and constantly doing something- always a good sign. The brekkie was perfect as was the Guinness.
This Wetherspoons has the usual inexpensive food, ability to order to the table via app or at the bar, and fairly quick service. It is slightly worn in places (particularly the chair fabrics), but good for a quick bite or pint.
A modern looking building for a spoons, nevertheless a good job has been done.
I had the value for money deal: Wiltshire ham and cheddar cheese panini with a non alcohol Ghost Ship for £4.55. Quite busy with most tables taken.
Not sure if you can park on site. There are car parks close by though.
The best Weatherspoon, we have ever visited 👍
Nice, spacious interior on different levels and rooms.
Large exterior space with useful landscaping.
Traditional extensive menu with daily specials and I particularly like that all items have their calories annotated.
I am now a pretty regular visitor and happy to recommend it ✅
They were busy, it was a Saturday lunchtime.
The service and food was fantastic, and excellent value for money.
P.S. their Breakfast is top notch too.
Nice pub with a nice setting. Food and service good. Price wise you can't beat a weatherspoons. Only downside was finding for table that was clear.
We had two excellent steaks 🥩 Arrived just 5 minutes after ordering. Sat outside in the sunshine 🌞 Good value too.
