Mifta's Indian Restaurant

What an impressive restaurant the staff are professional, knowledgable, attentive and very friendly. The food is exceptional, I had my usual Chicken Naga it was beautifully cooked and superbly presented, the best I’ve ever had. It’s an ideal restaurant for families, couples and friends, perfect for that special occasion.

Had a lunch on Bank Holiday Monday, only one other couple in. Food was good and a nice sized serving with lovely flavours. The problem with the service is that the on this visit and our last one it was very quiet and so staff didn’t have much to do. This meant they kept walking over, which in the end felt like we were being watched and almost felt we should hurry up and get out. They were not rude, just too much time on their hands. It is a large restaurant so in the quiet times they have a beautiful curtain to divide the restaurant in half, giving it a smaller and therefore cosier. Food and drink prices are mid range cost, wine comes in about £24 a bottle.

Absolutely incredible. Having moved into the local area and previously having a world of Indian restaurants in driving distance, we had no idea how good our new locals would be. Miftas blew out expectations out the water and was easily the best Indian takeaway we have had in the last 5 years. So much flavor it was a pleasant surprise! Will be ordering again soon!

What a lovely surprise, another gem of a curry place in Alton. I especially loved my first takeaway from here last night for the variety! We had 5 different curries, and all were totally different. As a pescatarian it was heaven, the vegetable, paneer side. King prawn and salmom curries were all delicious. I will definitely be back. Yummy 😋

Had a lovely dining experience at Mifta’s, with quick and friendly service. The restaurant is beautiful alongside clean and spacious. Dining in and out of Mifta’s is always a delight. The biryani is my go to dish, was serviced in a stunning authentic Indian dish. I look forward to my next dine in or take away from Mifta’s. Definitely recommend to give them a visit.

We accidentally found Mifta's Indian Restaurant... and although I am not keen on Indian food generally, still (agreed) went to dine in. My goodness! What an amazing time I am so glad I did. The staff were great and helpful - not sure of the reviews here but I had no problems whatsoever with the team there; very polite, attentive and respectful. The food - THIS is where the story starts - as someone who isn't a fan of Indian food, this completely changes the narrative. The food was absolutely fantastic; cooked perfectly, seasoned correctly and the right portions / amount. The price was exactly where I thought it should be. Did I mention how good the food was?? (it was that good btw). For me, when the team lined up as we left, I found that to be the most respectful gesture and thank you for that. So, would I recommend Mifta's - Yes, 100% as I (we) will be going back AND more than prepared to drive the 40 mins to get there. I would also be very happy to take and recommend to family and friends too. Thank you again for a nice evening. Iain
