I recently won a competition for a free meal at Gonbay. I remember this place from years ago and how good it was. We visited on Saturday night and was pleased to say it hasn’t changed a bit! The staff were outstanding and so welcoming. The speed of the food to the table was exactly how I like it. Enough time between each course and not waiting forever. The food was fantastic. Chicken skewers in satay sauce and honey spare ribs to start, followed by sweet and sour chicken , chicken foo yung, egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips for mains. All had a great taste and flavour and we were well and truly stuffed at the end! Thank you all so much and we will certainly be back very soon!

Stand out service from the staff, so welcoming and happy to split the bills into smaller groups for our party celebrating a family 40th. Portion sizes very good and food very tasty. It is a little bit more expensive than I would usually pay for a meal out, but it was a special occassion birthday for a family member so definitely worth it for a treat. They also made a special dessert with sparkly candle and birthday song for the birthday boy which was lovely! Thank you for a lovely meal out!

Absolutely lovely staff. Fresh hot and tasty food. Pricey, although you get lots in your plates. Definitely will return here.
