If you enjoy tea then this is the place for you! This tea room has a huge selection of teas and it is made to perfection. Some really unusual blends, all excellent quality and perfectly timed to give the best brew. Whilst tea is the star of the show, there are also some lovely meals including soups, cakes and scones. Staff are friendly and welcoming, especially to children.

Lovely cafe and tea delivery service About a year back we went there randomly whilst visiting the town and had a lovely winter soup and tea with very kind service. I bought a bag of tea to take home. Some months later when it ran out I ordered a few more bags on the website on a Saturday afternoon. I was very surprised to receive a package with the tea on the Monday morning beautifully wrapped. They also just sent me some Christmas tea out of the blue as a gift. They are one of the few companies these days that really are a delight to work with.

The tea and cake were excellent in the cafe. But slightly disappointed with the loose leaf tea we bought to take away. Even with a very fine mesh tea strainer you get sediment in your tea. Needs to be brewed using one of the filter bags they sell, but we weren't told that at the time.

Dropped by on a Monday afternoon after our visit to the Alnwick Castle and when we couldn’t get a table at the nearby Grannies, but we were pleasantly surprised by how good the teas (we had the Gyokuro green tea and the Lover’s Lane tea) and the cheese scones are. Lovely little place and very friendly staff, highly recommended!

This is a cosy, friendly little café where the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. If you have any kind of dietary requirements, you'll feel in safe hands as they check everything and even bring it out for you to check. The soup was delicious and I felt in no rush to leave as my incredible oolong tea was refilled. Vegan, veg and gluten free friendly!

Lovely relaxed place with friendly service and the widest selection of teas I've seen in some considerable time. A selection of tasty cakes and scones meant that children were happy too!

First class tea Room, with delicious food and really personal service. The tea selection is outstanding, and all high quality stuff. It is prepared properly, and the owner takes great care to ensure you enjoy the experience. The soup and scones were delicious too. Highly recommended.

Lovely little gem in Alnwick for fresh loose leaf tea.. long list of tea choices that you'd struggle to get else where. I love the soup and scone deal.. because their scones are amazing! Especially the fruit ones. They do a wonderful 'proper' hot chocolate too served with marshmallows. Perfect after a cold walk in Northumberland or for a sweet treat.

A lovely warm atmosphere in this small tea room serving a selection of food and a huge range of loose and herbal teas (also available to buy). We had carrot and mango soup and stottie which was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful informing us that all food was vegetarian and there was no problem adapting the soup so it was vegan-for which I was grateful for. Teas were well explained and very enjoyable. I highly recommend and will visit again in the future.
