Mr H's - Ambleside - Photo album

Mr. H truly exceeded our expectations, leaving my friends and me in awe. The enchanting atmosphere, reminiscent of a fairytale setting, immerses you completely, making you feel like a character at Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter's table. The service was not only pleasant but also attentive, adding
Very nice and well decorated place. staff friendly, Food was fantastic and priced fairly. The toilets are very clean but are down some steep stairs so not ideal for old or disabled people. But plenty of toilets in and about Ambleside.
Excellent tea room, scones fantastic and proper leaf lose tea and excellent service and value, highly recommend.
It is very lovely, the service is really good, they were greeting us and we were served in a timely manner. Food was delicious, the scones are very nice! Thank you guys for being amazing hosts!
Beautiful, friendly tea room selling sandwiches, quiche, jacket potatoes and cakes with good coffee and tea (in pots). C
Read the full review! Originally we went to a place round the corner, but it was full and came in here as second choice. The decor left us a little underwhelmed, but our scones and tea didn't! Tea was amazing, and the scones were absolutely bang on. Proper china cup and saucer and leaf tea served i
A tearoom with great character and lovely sayings written on walls and blackboards situated in the middle of town in Ambleside. Excellent mint hot chocolate, great coffee. The lemon drizzle cake and fruit scones ware great too. Service was prompt and friendly. Well worth visiting
What a lovely little tea room. We stopped off for a quick bite to eat and stumbled upon this great place. We thoroughly enjoyed our scone and cup of tea while listening to The Kinks. Very reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Wonderful quirky decor. Friendly staff. A place I'd definitely visit regula
Highly recommend this place for a nice lunch, coffee break or when you fancy a slice of cake;) very quirky in decor but I loved it! Attending and polite staff, delicious food not overpriced!;) they also definitely know how to brew a tea! I was positively surprised 😮 well done!
Lovely quirky cafe, so glad I came across this before we headed back home from our trip, sausage and bacon butties were lovely and very good servings, hot chocolate was amazing ! And the scone was great too, makes it even better that it’s dog friendly too
A really lovely and authentic tea room with lovely decor and delicious cream tea!
By far the best Sandwich with side salad i have tasted in a long time. I had a tuna mayo sandwich on brown bread. It was plated with creamy coleslaw, generous filling of tuna and salad with crisps. Very cosy and warm cafe with friendly staff. Worth every penny.
Visited for a light lunch. My parents had a sandwich between them, husband had a tuna melt panini and I had a scone with jam and cream. All was very nice. The sandwiches come with a dressed side salad and the dressing was so nice, my dad asked about it. Nice selection of drinks and everyone was very
best scone and tea i’ve ever had! lovely service too :)
Greeted with a warm welcoming smile when we entered the tearoom. All the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The service was exceptionally speedy considering everything is served fresh. Interesting quirky decor. Also dog friendly.
Being there today. The place is PERFECT. The food is delicious (forget the stigma about tasteless British food), the service amazing and the atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming. THE PLACE to come for some chilling. The prices are more than fair. Would definitely come back
Popped in for a late afternoon drink and snack. Loose leaf tea from a large teapot and a really excellent scone - flavoursome and just the right amount of crumble. Interesting (quirky!) decor and friendly, efficient service. Excellent!
Very enjoyable tea plus chicken and beacon baguette.. had to cancel our evening dinner appointment the baguette was so substantial .. and tasty. Atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant, would definitely return when in Ambleside.
We popped in to this quaint little café on a recent visit to Ambleside. We only had teas, teacakes and scones, however the look of the other food on plates passing the table was very nice selection beautifully served.
