This is my favourite place to get a bite in Ambleside. The staff are so friendly and the food is just right. Perfect for a quick snack or meal! Also have the best teapots.

Lovely tea room, quirky.sandwiches were lovely with plenty of filling.we visited here after taking a trip to Hayes garden centre.my mum and I just stubbled across this tea room and I would definitely recommend it. I was spoilt for choice as there were also homemade cakes but I went for a smoked salmon sandwich which came with a side salad,crisps and coleslaw and it was a very reasonable price.would definitely visit again,the staff were very friendly too.

Very nice and well decorated place. staff friendly, Food was fantastic and priced fairly. The toilets are very clean but are down some steep stairs so not ideal for old or disabled people. But plenty of toilets in and about Ambleside.
