Dropped in late but were accommodated for a table of four. Good service of great food. Attentive but not intrusive staff and a very good atmosphere. Been walking past this place for years now. Such a shame we've missed out on this quality restaurant. Thoroughly recommended.

Brilliant again! I have reviewed this restaurant favourably in the past and do so again here. They have trialled a tapas style menu recently but they are now back to the previous menu offering a good choice of starters and mains. Whilst I love it here and stayed loyal, I do prefer this menu rather than the tapas one and I am pleased to see it back on the table again. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had the fish platter, followed by lamb shank and chicken. Very nice. Will be back again soon.

Was looking for a place to eat this evening and not wanting burgers n chips or lasagne. Gave the Fulling Mill a call on the off chance hoping that they may allow pets, and they do in the bar area, which is lovely anyway. It was like labrador central with fantastic owners.
Was so impressed with the level of service and food, so if you looking for a lovely evening meal out with your partner and pooch, I can not recommend this place enough. Fantastic food and a fantastic atmosphere

A wonderful building to enjoy a good meal.
We opted for the sharing tapas style selections and really enjoyed the "tempura chicken with teriyaki noodles", returned a few days later for more of the same.

This was the last evening of our 12 night stay in the Lake District. This was perfect in every way. The food was cooked and presented perfectly, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. First Class hope to return on another visit. The Sea Bass is highly recommended.

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing building... Made my anniversary /birthday meal one to remember. WILL DEFINITELY BE COMEING BACK 😍 definitely recommend the fish platter 👍🏻😋 also love that there's no kids after 5. (under 8 I think it is) great atmosphere and don't have to put up with other peoples kids screaming 😅 can't wait to be back
