Where to start chose here because they are dog friendly staff met us as soon as we got through the door took us to our table bowl ofwater for the dog even blankets for him to lay on. Not the biggest menu but excellent quality and service couldn't fault anything we ate will certainly call back again in the future

We managed to get a last minute table at Luigi’s last night. The 2 lasses that was serving in were amazing, service was quick, drinks very reasonable prices and wow the food!!! Just stunning so fresh and tasty. We certainly will be coming back and recommending to anyone who is visiting the area. Thank you for making our weekend one to remember.

We love dining at Luigi's, high quality homemade food at reasonable prices. I just wish they served vegetables! Even just brocoli & carrots would be good but they only serve salad. The veal in marsala sauce with potatoes is delicious, creamed garlic mushrooms to start, superb. Silky carbonara, with garlic bread, perfect! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, service was excellent too.
I had asked, when booking a few weeks earlier, to be seated upstairs, unfortunately we were placed downstairs with dogs & children, which was disappointing.

Booked a table no problem some time ago as Luigi’s had a great reputation. Entered premises and greeted with very friendly staff and we explained we had a booking. Brought to our table and asked if we would like a drink which we ordered whilst going over menu. Drinks arrived and we placed order. Wasn’t long for the starter to arrive (Pate with side salad) plates collected and within 10mins the main had arrived, which was fantastic. Had to finish the night off with a pudding. Couldn’t fault the whole evening and highly recommend a visit to all👍forgot to mention bill was around £85 which was two 3 course meals and one 2 course meal with drinks🍺.

We had two consecutive nights here during our short break in Ambleside. Both nights excellent food with great service. Particularly lovely staff and great value. I would go out of my way to revisit, next time I am in the area. ♥️🍽️
