The four of us went in on the off chance yesterday, food was lovely, with me been Italian, i'm a bit wary of Italian restaurants. No issues food was extremely enjoyable friendly staff and would recommend. When we return to Ambleside we will defo pay Luigi's another visit. Thankyou for fitting us in.... Absolutely brilliant evening! Due to traffic we were over an hour late, we did let the team know , and they kept the table for us. The food was classic traditional italian, you can taste the fresh produce. The service was 10/10 everyone was so welcoming and attentive. We can't wait to return...Thank you

Great to find an Italian that does more than pizza. Lovely pasta dishes well cooked and flavoursome. Nice ambience and great that dogs are only allowed doenstsairs. Staff very friendly and attentive. We will be back.
Lovely food and good service. All around nice place.
We ate here as a party of four and were made very welcome immediately. It was good to see the restaurant busy but despite that we were neither rushed nor neglected - I thought the service was spot on considering they were busy. Atmosphere is great and you can actually hear your party’s conversation as the music is not too loud.
Food was excellent, couldn’t fault any of it. Starters, Mains and Desserts were all spot on. Can thoroughly recommend the risotto, the veal escalopes a la Marsala or the amatriciana / pescatore pasta dishes.
Staff were both very young and very helpful.
First time we have dined here and it won’t be the last time.

We popped in at 6pm to see if they had space as a family of 4 and they were able to accommodate us which was a bonus. The food was simply outstanding Italian pasta. The kids enjoyed thier portions and ate every morsel. We had Carbonana washed down with a glass (bottle) of Pinot and it was lovely. Best Italian food in Ambleside no doubt.

We had two consecutive nights here during our short break in Ambleside. Both nights excellent food with great service. Particularly lovely staff and great value. I would go out of my way to revisit, next time I am in the area. ♥️🍽️
Loved it great food and atmosphere took my girlfriend for our anniversary and didn't disappoint at all was served by a lady called cerys really nice and we had a great evening would dine here again any day
Absolutely delicious food, we had the risotto and the arrabbiata, good size portion, lovely tasting chips. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough especially considering the Indian which we had the day before. In both restaurants we spent £50 and that Indian was the worst food I’ve had from ever and I am south Asian and ate from 100’s of Indian restaurants.
