Scrumptious food and always service with a smile. The team are always incredibly friendly and efficient. This time we sat in to enjoy a steak and Stilton, and a cheesy leak and ham. Absolutely delicious. It isn't our first time here and won't be our last. Fantastic team and food! It's ALWAYS busy which says it all. There's also plenty of awards on display which is nice to see!

I will always give a 5 star rating where it's due. Hello home of beautiful food. This little shop was our saviour. Me and my wife had tried a couple of other places for a hot breakfast that had broken our hearts that morning, 26th March '23. By the time my wife spotted this little bakery, I just wanted to drive back to Manchester on an empty stomach and buy kfc. My wife went and told the cashier that we just wanted hot food, to which the young lady reassured is their pasties were definitely served hot. We took the risk and ordered one beef and Chipotle pasty to try. Our drinks were made with hot milk and the pasty was hot and yummy. We ordered another one and enjoyed our eat in. We had the opportunity to meet the boss, who was proud of her product and her work. Whe asked if we could buy 6 more frozen cornish pasties to take home for the kids and she obliged and even gave us the directions to oven bake them. We are ok paying a premium price for a quality product. Thank you so much for mending our broken hearts that day

It was a lovely place with a large selection of parties. The lady who served us was great but the only downside to the experience was the large number of wasps which were situated in the shop and it was treated as normal. Overall would recommend as the parties were lovely, just be on the look out so you don’t get stung.

Popped in late to grab a very very late lunch after a long days travel. I had a spicy Cauliflower and chickpea pasty which was delicious! The OH had the traditional Cornish which he said tasted good but you didn't get much meat in it. Dog friendly as well which was nice.

Absolutely amazing pasties, Husband usually goes for the traditional pasty but opted for the spiced cauliflower& onion bhaji, he loved it! been to the shop a few times now and will be going back before we leave. Lovely service as well.

On a horrible very rainy day in the Lakes, the vegan pasty and two free seats inside the window won the day. Ordered two vegan vegetable pasties and two decaf teas with oat milk and it was just the ticket. The pasties were delicious, piping hot and perfect with a cuppa. Would definitely revisit

Pack a pasty in your bag for lunch at the summit of one of the many fells and crags around Ambleside. Any will do, but the Chicken Masala or the Chipotle Beef are to die for. The Farmhouse Sausage Roll, shorter in length than an average sausage roll, but the giant meatball shape doesn't compensate on the taste, especially the caramelised edges. The pasties are super tasty, but The farmhouse sausage roll is literal heaven. It's a must have whilst in Ambleside. First thing when you arrive, and one for the road before you leave.

The best coffee in Ambleside by far (I live here, I've tried them all), and most reasonably priced. Also the friendliest staff who always make you feel welcome, which goes a long way and brightens up your day. A big thanks to Dawn for always making me laugh in the mornings.

Fresh and tasty, the smell of the delicious pastries can make one resist anything but temptation. Tried a few things from cheese scone, croissant to coffee and Natas. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

A very nice little bakery in Ambleside, whilst the food is not quite as good as The Apple Pie Bakery further down the road, it seems to have food out on display all day as opposed to the other bakery which seems to have nothing by 3pm. The coffee is nice too! It’s definitely worth a visit as the sausage rolls are lovely!
