Hodgie's Ice Cream

Still a great ice cream stop after all these years. So many delicious flavors. Be sure to check the special flavor releases and and heed the serving size chart. The service is always friendly and helpful. The child size cup (not kiddie sizes) is (or should be) enough for us all, but for Father's day I went for a full kiddie. That's 3 large scoops but it seems more like 5.

This ice cream is very "creamy" and the flavors are pretty good. They have amazing peanut butter sauce which is rare. For some reason our small sundaes came in a quart container and contained more ice cream than we could eat (and we can eat an amazing/horrifying amount of ice cream). This is not a complaint but it was pretty surreal.

I made the mistake of not looking at the sizes before ordering, since a kiddie cup is the smallest, right? Nope! When I asked for a kiddie, they showed me a cup to demonstrate the size, and mentioned the quarter kiddie, so I accepted that instead, since a fourth of a kiddie size must be tiny, right? Ended up getting 3 massive scoops on my sugar cone. Does that mean a regular kiddie is 12 scoops?! And there's still "small" and "large" that's bigger than that?!! I ended up dumping two of the three scoops, which is unfortunate since the ice cream itself wasn't too bad.
