The food, as always is great at The White Hart. We didn't have to wait long for it either.
The service has been a bit hit and miss recently, but they've definitely turned a corner now as last night the service was exceptional! Our waitress was very attentive, kept checking on us, asked if the food was OK, if we needed more drinks etc.. You could see she clearly loves her job as she was the same with other tables. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening 😊
Went to a wedding there. Lovely place, great food accommodated to my dietary needs well. We also stayed in one of their rooms. Well kept, maintained and lovely decor. Only thing I will say is bed wasn't the most comfortable but that's down to individual taste.
No parking, but can pay £8 a day behind fratelli.
The White Hart exceeded our expectations during our Monday lunchtime visit as a group of four. The service provided by the young gentlemen was exceptional, with their attentiveness and promptness making us feel valued throughout. The shashuka I ordered was simply delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs immersed in a flavorful tomato sauce. We enjoyed our meal in the sun-drenched outdoor seating area, and the staff consistently checked on us, ensuring a delightful experience. The White Hart's commitment to exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and inviting ambiance makes it deserving of its five-star rating. Our sincere thanks to the staff for making our visit truly memorable.
A beautiful, charming venue - perfect for a wedding!
It was an absolute joy being Siri + Tom's wedding photographers at this historic, Grade II listed venue. Tucked away in the charming town of Ampthill, the venue is a perfect setting for an intimate wedding - and we certainly captured it!
The staff were so friendly and helpful too - sharing relevant information with us about the venue.
Went to restaurant for lunch with 4yr old and Coeliac (gluten intolerant) wife. Good options for both (and nice kids menu with some activities and pencils). Lots of seating, nice venue. One star knocked off for speed - even the two scoops of kids ice cream took an age!
This is a nice establishment. I enjoyed the selection of lagers and ales on tap. The food was better than your average ‘pub grub’.
I had the falafel burger, which was presented in a way that would have been difficult to eat. The falafel was still whole, however, once I cut and halved the falafel myself the burger was much more ‘eatable’. Regardless, the burger was quite delicious! My partner had the sausage and mash which was very nice.
The staff were friendly and the decor of the restaurant was lovely. I would come here again, but only if I was treating myself. It is a bit pricey.
Had lunch today. Food was very good. Especially halloumi fries with harrisa sauce. One of our group has mobilty issues and that was taken into consideration. The waiter Emmanuel's care and attention was above and beyond. We definitely will return. Thank you.
Lovely hotel, fabulous room, v comfy. Great bar and wonderful restaurant with excellent service from all the staff, loved the food and especially the breakfast! Quite close to parking so not a problem there and lovey small town central location
Visited for breakfast. Great menu and really good food. Friendly, helpful staff too. Well worth a visit.
Friendly and welcoming staff. There is a good menu selection to suit a range of appetites. The food is incredibly tasty and portioned well
