Been using Ampthill fish bar for many years, not the cheapest but the food is good - you get a fairly good size portion and the food is always fresh - pub next door is great for popping in to whilst you wait for your good. Would recommend - better than other local kebab shops.

Large cod and chips could easily serve 2 people. Cod quality is top notch. No seating which isn't a problem. Staff were welcoming 👍 If I'm ever around the same location I will definitely visit again!!

Food is good here. It's my go to for fish and chips any evening. They take card, there is normally space to park just opposite and fair prices.

First went 3 years ago. Since then everything has gone up by £5. Fish n chips are nice, crispy batter and proper chips with kebabs is way better than those fake chips kebab shops usually serve.
Staff are nice enough. But the queuing system is rubbish. I understand phone orders but when someone comes in orders a massive list and they get there's first and all you ordered was kebab meat n chips.

I bought fish and chips here at about 6:30 on a Saturday. The food was fresh and tasty and good value. I'd come here again. Would have been five stars except the service was a bit slow and I had to remind them about the mushy peas they'd forgotten about.

Used this takeaway the other night. We had a mixture of kebabs with chips. The staff were friendly, the service was great, and the food was very tasty. They have a good selection at reasonable prices. I was very happy. I would highly recommend this business!!
