You know that feeling, when you try a restaurant for the first time and the food and service were so good, you couldn’t wait to come back and experience it again? That was my experience here at Grassfields. Every aspect of my chicken parmigiana was just right- so good! Just the right crispness of the fried batter (thin enough- not thick) My wife loved her salmon And the desserts weren’t too shabby either!

The food here is always great and consistent. The crowd is certainly older I bring my grandmother here , and we used to bring my great grandmother here before she passed. This is definitely a place to make memories with loved ones, as my mom gets older I'm sure I'll be bringing her here as well. I deducted one star for Atmosphere , since it's not really my taste but honestly this is a staple in Andover for generations - this is not meant to be a trendy hot spot it's made to be a little classy and nice for older people to relax. Also as I am sure you've heard the spinach rice is really good - I've never seen any other place who offers it. Additionally the price to portion ratio is generous. I got a lot of steak tips for a fair price which were delicious by the way.

Another hidden gem. Great place with great food. Lots of options. The spinach rice alone will have me coming back. Great fish. I almost died when I saw the bill come in about half of what I was expecting. Place was packed and rightfully so. Restroom needs some updating. . Definitely on my local favorites list.

Steak and baked stuffed shrimp was very good and filet was just okay. Dinners came with no salad and only one side but fresh bread was very good. Coffee was cold and waitress said if we wanted she would microwave the cups if we wanted or else wait 15-20 minutes for a brewed cup. Probably would go back but not in a hurry.

Grass fields has always been such a great place for quality food at reasonable prices. Today, was an exception to the rule. I ordered Baked Stuffed Shrimp with a loaded baked potato and there were 4 small shrimp and they were terribly overcooked. I must say it was the worse seafood dish I have ever had. Hopefully the chef was either newly trained or just had a bad day.

The reception was bad, like they didn't know what they were doing, few other clients were expressing frustration beside us. But they only got 3 stars because of the waitress she was lovely and make us feel special. Beside of her, I will not really recommend that place and that will be a 1 star for me.
