Pappy's

We absolutely LOVE finding little “mom and pop” places to eat when we travel. We call them “Flavor Adventures” or “Hanging with the Locals!” We always try and order something that we can’t find at home, if possible. Breakfast was SOOOOO amazing, we came back for lunch the next day! Everything was BOMB! The pancakes were fluffy with the perfect crust, and sweetness. The gyro skillet was the best skillet I have ever had! Flavors we’re on point and the meat was so tender. We had the walleye for lunch (can’t get that in CA) and OMG!!! It was the best I’ve ever had! So glad we found this place! Thank you for the amazing and friendly service as well as a flavor adventure that did NOT disappoint.

Fantastic food & service! Theo The only downside is the booths, the backs move ~ 6". You better hope you don't have your fork in your mouth when someone sits down behind you or you may stab yourself in the back of your throat. Great food, great service, please fix the booths before someone gets injured. Lastly, upgrade the tables, a few of them are sliders.

Will not be back. Came here for the first time 3 months ago with my husband. Took forever to be seated, even though they weren't that busy and the waitress walked by us several times. All the people in there just stare at you too, maybe because my husband's black, felt like the twilight zone. Service was just terrible but the food was good, priced well for the amount you get. Anyway, we still tipped the waitress even though she was annoyed somehow by us being there, I figured she was tired or something. My stomach started hurting really bad after we left and I threw up, which didn't alleviate the pain. I thought maybe because there was a ton of food, or maybe it was really greasy, who knows. Decided to come in today again with my husband and this time our 3 year old daughter. Same thing happened. We stood at the wait to be seated sign for 10 minutes while the server walked by us several times not saying anything. She finally says to just sit down wherever. We sit down at a dirty booth. She's wiping off other tables and helping other people for another 10 minutes, finally I just said to my husband maybe we should go somewhere else. He stood up to leave as my daughter and I were scooting out of the booth and a patron said woo-hoo. Really odd. We walked out and on the way out my daughter saw a gum ball machine and wanted a gum ball. I took her to the car while my husband stayed behind to get one for her. He heard another lady say glad they're gone. Just really weird people in there. Stare at you. It's completely uncomfortable. Would not recommend.

We have been customers a Pappy’s for years but it’s over now. The food is good for the most part but the service has been going down faster than Biden’s approval rating. Just want to say that last night we had the waitress from hell. She even argued with me when she brought me the soup that I didn’t even ask for. I had asked for the salad with Italian dressing but she said I was wrong and it was too late because she couldn’t serve my soup to anyone else now that it was on my table. I made her take it back anyway but she was very rude about everything after that like when I had to remind her that my wife had ordered milk and pancakes to go with her eggs.
