The Rusted Rooster

I enjoy going to the Rusted Rooster whenever we are in town for a tennis meet. I like the way it is decorated and the music they play. My fav thing there is the dirty chai latte w/ an extra shot of expresso. The thing that really makes this place a fun place to go is the assistant manager McKenna. She always has a smile for everyone and remembers what you like to order. The rest of the staff is very nice too! I tried the Caesar salad and it was really good.

We found the cutest little coffee shop/Cafe on the way home from Leavenworth. The Grownup Grilled Cheese was melty deliciousness. Also, I am very picky about my iced tea...Rusted Roosters is perfect. Quaint and casual place... Plus, the service was great. If your passing through Andover, stop in for a coffee, tea, breakfast or lunch.

I love that Andover has it's own unique, locally owned coffee shop now! I have been here before, but recently I tried their food for the first time. The avocado, tomato, and egg panini was delicious! My kids shared a waffle and enjoyed it very much. The staff was kind enough to provide us with a second basket so each kid had their own "plate" and two cups of syrup, one for each kid. I love the games and books. My kiddos and I played a game of Sorry together after finishing our breakfast before heading off to school. I enjoyed the drip coffee, though I can't remember at the moment which one I got. It was the lighter of the four different roasts that they offered. There is construction going on in the back at the moment. I hope that is to make an even bigger patio out back. The last time my family visited, in warmer weather, we very much enjoyed the outdoor patio atmosphere and are eager to enjoy some coffee and breakfast there again. I also love the local crafts offered for sale there. This is a fun and unique coffee and breakfast place. I think Andover is lucky to have this place and I look forward to going back!

Am I a jerk for thinking this local place is honestly overrated? The smoothies are made with powder and water. The breakfast burrito is average at best and I wouldn't order it again. Drinks I've ordered here have been forgettable. I like to shop local but I've yet to have a fantastic experience as the other reviewers here have had.
