Been to numerous other pubs on the area and never really ventured to this one. We were surprised and a bit guilty we didn't try before. Lovely food and drink excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere, we will 100% return

Lovely pub in a very pleasant location. The food is of great quality with very good service. It is very pleasant and comfortable inside with a very nice and cozy atmosphere. Very good value as well, definitely a great pub to visit.

I was taken here for my birthday and it was a lovely surprise to be eating in one of the pods. The young girls serving us were fantastic and the food was lovely. They put a candle in my dessert and joined in singing Happy Birthday. I will definitely be returning.

Much revamped pub and beer garden since our last visit. We had the Sunday roast in one of the pods and it was outstanding. Meat just melted in your mouth, plenty of succulent veggies and extra gravy. Knickerbocker desserts to finish. Loved it. Waiting service friendly and helpful. Possibly new Sunday favourite.

We stopped here today for a quick drink after a long walk around the local woods. The pub was very busy but we were able to sit at the front outside with our dogs. The tables were clean and there was fresh dog water available.
The drinks were so cold and the staff were polite. As I returned the glasses a staff member said thankyou and told me to have a good afternoon.
We will in fact be returning in a couple of months for a very special celebratory meal and will be booking shortly.

The afternoon tea was delicious. Sandwiches, scones & variety of cakes were fresh & so yummy. It was served in Pod in their gardens which was very different & cute.Table was set for us arriving. Staff were very nice. Excellent value. Would highly recommend it.

A really splendid pub nestled comfortably in the English countryside. Free parking, great food, friendly atmosphere and a decent selection of beers and wines. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Dog friendly. Would recommend 👌

have just visited the oak in smannell, the food, atmosphere and cleanliness was top notch. It was decently priced and the staff were so lovely and made me and mum feel welcomed, would definitely recommend anyone to come and visit and will most probably eat here again soon

The Oak was such a perfect venue for hosting my sister's baby shower. Communication was fantastic, food was delicious and presented beautifully, and the room was stunning. Thank you so much!

We all loved this place! Food was great, all hot and heated plates too! We all chose different things, and each of us loved what we had.
We all had dessert too! All amazingly yummy! Highly recommend it is not too far from Tesco in Andover Hampshire and down a Country Rd, wish I lived here.
