A good pub, drinks are suitable quantities of vodka. Much better than the globe, even if 1 double voddy coke looked like a lemonade! Still went down well.

Great pub with friendly staff and a good vibe. In my opinion the pub has more character than the other pubs in town . Landlord and lady are proper characters and Nicki is lush

Had a good evening out with ex work colleagues, band was good, enjoyable night.

Finished work just popped in for a drink, they have got sky sports, but no food in the week. Local people made me feel welcome, the bar staff are great, is definitely worth a visit.

Wow, what a gig Union King must be the best covers band in the area. Really great atmosphere very friendly locals and reasonably priced drinks bar staff worked hard bur stayed cheerful. 10 out of 10 night
