This was our second visit to this wonderful pub, although the approach down a bumpy lane and across the pebble beach may put some people off, it's all a part of this places charm...wonderful little place doing great food at affordable prices...The Seafood Chowder was lovely washed down with a pint of Welsh Ale...if in the area, it's a must...

Unfortunately we arrived just as they were closing at three but we were able to have a drink in the garden and enjoy the beautiful setting. We had a little look inside and it is a fabulous olde worlde pub and we will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely pub in Angle with great history. Quite a long narrow winding road to get to it but worth the drive as there are lovely views over the estuary (ignoring the oil refinery at pembroke Docks). Had a lovely cappuccino there whilst relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.

Magical place, love it here. There was beautiful folk music tonight too. We ate; sea bass rolls, crab roll, lobster roll, pint of prawns and the C cut chips slathered in kelpchup... all delicious. Highly recommend <3

Fascinating out-of-the-way pub. Very friendly staff and tasty food. Well worth the trip. Update April 2023 Whilst there was a lovely fire in the winter it was cold in April, we had to fetch coats from the car. Food still tasty. Different staff. The access track has deteriorated, many potholes and seaweed indicates that it will be flooded at high water spring tides.

An ancient place, recently receiving a light renovation. A long drive down an unsealed route with spectacular views. The big sign in the village welcome encouragement! A small part of the route looks tidal and may be underwater at peak high tide! A simple food menu executed to the highest standards. You may have a little wait as all cooked fresh to order. Lovely old pub, great to drop in for drink. Booking advised for food. Staff are legendary in their service. Definitely worth a visit.

My review is just about Chips, we’ll almost, they are lush! They Also have lobster, crab and fresh fried fish Rolls and Welsh beef burgers from the outside stall, all served with seaweed butter and ketchup. ( this is not the inside pub food which I cannot comment on as didn’t have) And it doesn’t stop there Pembrokeshire Rum a ice cream stand, All enjoyed on the banks of the river with an impromptu musical duet and a power station view it really is the pub that has it all!

I’ve been coming here for many years, at many times of the year. Both in and out of season. I’ve always had a warm welcome from most of the staff. Sadly I’ve had a couple of visits within the last month where one member of staff was so stand off I was lost for words. Considering it’s one of only two pubs in Angle and I prefer and love this location to the other. The gentleman was so put out that I went into the actual pub to get drinks instead of using the outside bar (I had no idea about) he refused to serve me stating they were too busy to possibly provide three drinks all despite no one being at the bar. It was extremely unprofessional. Which is very sad. He was also incredibly rude to another couple that then appeared to ask to book a table. On other occasions the lady or younger gent that has always served us were both lovely. Would it put me off going again? Hmm after spending 25 years plus visiting this area which we love. Ill try again. Maybe he was having a bad day? Thing is, when you run a place which obviously thrives on holiday and passing trade during the holiday seasons and provides good food and drink. You’d think customer service would be on point at all times. There is no axe to grind here. I’ve been a customer for a long time here I’ve brought people here for a drink, listen to the music and eat the food which is good, but this time was a complete embarrassment to me. Thankfully the gentleman running the outside bar was warm , friendly and helpful. UPDATED June 2023. Sadly Jonathan you were the one that told us to go outside. I get you may have busy times, I get you may get stressed and overworked. That said. When people enter your pub from the lifeboat station side I suggest a polite sign saying something along the lines of bookings only inside and an arrow pointing to the outside shed you have in the garden! Which has delightful staff in it. Then there is no confusion or upset.

Wonderful late lunch at this beautiful, out of the way pub. Really friendly greeting from the lovely staff. The food is a fish lover’s heaven. Lots of local seaweed incorporated into the menu. We were also very lucky to get a table by a window with an amazing view of the harbour. Well worth a visit

Amazing little gem to be found near the estuary! Fabulous open fire, a separate bar and restaurant area, beer garden and interesting historic newspaper extracts/relics displayed around the pub. We were part of a walking group (including one dog) who stopped here for drinks and the welcoming staff kindly allowed us to eat our own sandwiches in the bar area where we sat. There's a local rumour that the road leading to the pub gets blocked of by the sea for about 5 hours when the tide comes in! I'd definitely like to return to see if this holds true. A beautiful surrounding area too.
