I had a surprise Birthday lunch at the Crown today and I have to say, what a wonderful pub/atmosphere and staff and the food, well hubby had a BBQ rack of ribs, it was enormous but so good he ate the lot, I had the BBQ Asian Salmon and I can honestly say it's the best Salmon I have had, it was moist, tender, and flavoursome with a crispy, smokey BBQ coating. Yum! My sister in law had a taste and agreed with me. Definitely recommend 💖
We love this place! It’s a hidden gem! Absolutely best burger we’ve ever eaten! Staff are great, especially Louise, remembers our names and what we order, makes us feel very welcome!
Awesome, what a gem of a place. We are trying to have a pint in every pub on the island and this has been a nice surprise, friendly staff, happy locals and superb beer. What more could you ask for? Dog friendly too, with water supplied for the pup. Will visit again for food and more local ales!

Small cozy pub, good home cooked food accompanied by friendly service. Welcome dish of vegetables with our meals which you don't get as standard nowadays. Dog friendly in the bar area. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Stopped off here on our trip up the tidal River. Excellent food and worth a visit to the area for a dip in the sea, a paddle in the river or a walk on the beach.
Food was nice, especially for the cheap price. Lovely atmosphere, however I sat next to this door which people kept coming in and out of, so that was rather cold and annoying, but otherwise a good visit.
Warm and welcoming venue and staff. The food was tasty, came in generously sized portions and on plates rather than a board or some other un-necessary serving method. The deserts were delicious and all reasonably priced. Only advice is to book ahead as it is deservedly popular!

Absolutely amazing food. The steak and ale pie was gorgeous, loads of veg and the chips are the best I've tasted. We will be back soon being more local now. Great service too. I was quite impressed we was temperature tested on arrival too. Very safe and clean.
What a wonderful experience today. The warm welcome from Dylan and Emma was exceptional. We felt special and the service that followed not to mention the food lived up to our expectations. The lunch time light bites are out of this world and what tremendous value!!! The tuna baguette and southern fried chicken wrap were our choices and they didn't disappoint. Lovely food. Great local ales complemented the fayre perfectly. Thanks to the chef, Emma and Dylan for a lovely afternoon, you are not just the Crown but the jewel in Aberffraw's Crown!!
