Great experience staff were very friendly and helpful even let us check in early as we had a wedding to go to and arrange a taxi for us lovely hotel will definitely be back :)
Dropped into this hotel
8th of July with fellow walkers
After a nice walk
Wee had good service
Friendly staff and good prices drinks
Will certainly visit again
The room was spotless and the big bed very comfortable, breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. The staff very friendly and helpful especially Dee who could not do enough for us and was very kind when my husband was taken ill. Will definitely go back there.
Had a great couple of nights in the Royal bar. Really welcoming place, staff were fantastic, esp cammy the barman. All the locals were cracking and very welcoming. I didn't see the rooms but would recommend the bar to anyone. It doesn't look that welcoming from outside but you def get a warm welcome inside
Thanks so much to Cherie and Sarah who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. From the moment we walked in till we left.Room was great, comfy beds,no complaints at all except wish we could have stayed longer.
Great bar where we had a fab time,so welcoming.
Breakfasts were so good.
Thanks for a great few days
Visited the bar twice last week with my husband - made to feel very welcome by staff and the other customers. No frills, pool table, jukebox - good place for a drink and a blether without all the fuss. All covid measures as well are in place which is more than I can say for a few other places ! Will definitely be trying to visit again in the future

Wonderful couple of nights staying here. Freshly cooked Scottish breakfast. THE most friendly & helpful staff inc. Dee at reception & Cammie ahint the bar.
It is an old building with a traditional bar.
Scotland’s most attentive, hard working, friendly, informative and all round nice guy barman. Thank you Cammy.
We had a great couple of nights.
Muir & Eddie.
Only had drinks so can't rate the food, but the bar had a good atmosphere, the locals were friendly and welcoming
A nice wee hotel in the picturesque harbor town of Anstruther. The hotel is located near the harbor and fairly easy to find, but parking spaces for cars are limited. As we spent a night here during a motorcycle tour through Scotland, we were able to park our bikes in the courtyard behind the hotel. Our room was a bit small and simple, but good enough for a short stay. Unfortunately, it did not have a wardrobe, so we had to put our bags and clothing on the chairs. The bathroom was also a bit small, but clean and functional. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We especially enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast. Recommendable for a short and reasonably priced stay in Anstruther!
