Such a friendly place, great staff, tasty food and beautiful cocktails - what more could you want!

We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast whilst in Anstruther and noticed this place was open. It's relatively new so we decided to give it a bash. The interior is nicely set just enough tables so as not to appear crushed. We ordered our food, soup and a haggis roll, coffees and juice, which came out soon after. The lentil soup is without doubt one of the best soups we have ever had served to us, delicious and the haggis was of good quality, bought from a butcher in Crail. The server was polite, prompt and well presented. The toilet was spotless. This is dog friendly too. The prices were on par with similar establishments in the area. We will definitely go back again but try an evening meal next time.

We visited twice for lunch during a week's stay in Anstruther. Both times the Tavern was all but empty, which is quite sad because we found both drinks and food delicious.
Bacon, brie and cranberry panini - definitely recommended! Full of top quality ingredients, beautifully presented with salad/crisps.
Squid in ginger & lime batter with spicy mayo. Declared resh and delicious by my partner - he's a major foodie so this is the highest possible praise!!
Furstenberg on draft (yay!) and Iced Margarita done to perfection.
Will definitely be back next time we're in Anstruther.

Called in for a drinks! We were served by a lovely helpful young man(never got his name)but he couldn't do enough for us. He was so patient and professional. My sister and I had 3 different cocktails one of which was a Malibu Sunset (or sunrise) developed by the waiter. It was gorgeous more so when sipped with a straw.
We spent some time talking to the chef Spud. What a lovely fella. He certainly enjoys his work and it was do nice to ask our opinions on the afternoon tea devised for the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Just calling for drinks was a great call it's a pity they were full for lunch.
