The Bell Rock

Yesterday my Daughter, son-in-law, and 3 grandson's (aged 11,8,8) went for the buffet lunch. There was a large selection of different foods, which were freshly cooked and replenished as soon as the container was empty. I mentioned my Grandson's ages because they were able to go up to the Buffet by themselves and get their own plates filled. (You can see the actual buffet from every table in the Restaurant) It gives them that little bit of independence 😊, plus the adults didn't have to leave their food to get the boy's fed, Win-win all round. Would definitely recommend 👌 👍.

We has the 3 course OAPs special... I had homemade chicken and sweetcorn soup.. ( all fresh & hot) really tasty.. followed by " Spicy fish" absolutely lovely... the fish was SO fresh and the Batter delicious plus... homemade chips... what a result..no frills... just real good food. The apple crumble & ice cream was lush to... Will definitely be back.. Well done The Bellrock

Wow. First time visit today after recently moving near to Arbroath. Welcomed by a very helpful friendly person, all the staff were friendly. The 12-2pm buffet was varied and tasty. Fish and chips were as good as any and my wife who is vegetarian happily enjoyed an excellent selection. The puddings were included and top quality. The apple crumble was particularly tasty and my favourite. The buffet itself was good value considering the quality and variety of food on offer. I’ll be recommending The Bellrock to all my friends.

Fish and chips were huge. Really fresh. Really nice. Good enough service but it was really expensive for what we had 2 × Fish n chips; 2 x peas 1 coffee 1 can coke The bill was nearly £40 It's only fish and chips in a pretty run down building in a poor part of Arbroath and it's just a cafe inside when it comes to tables n chairs.........been several times over the years doubt I'll go again

Our hostess was Ms. Taylor, very friendly service and she took the time to explain each dish in detail and showed no impatience in doing so. Friendly service by Ms. Shalu as well. Our order was lentil soup, onion rings, bread and butter, masala fish. Flavorful masala coated on the fish and grilled to perfection. Very good fish and exceptional onion rings. Thick and soothing lentil soup. Halal options if asked, food will be cooked in separate pan. Nice ambience, great food and service.
