The food here was amazing. I had a tuna melt and the bread was so crunchy and delicious. There are vegetarian options available. A meze platter which was excellent, some options on toast etc.
The only downside is the layout of the tables is a little odd. One big table takes up most of the room and the rest is a weird assortment.

Been to Bearpig a few times now and it never disappoints. I love the quirky decor which has so many hidden details that you slowly take in. The coffee is great and the food is delicious. Highly recommend grabbing yourself some cake from here if you're in Arbroath!

We had a lovely first visit to this little gem of a place, it was chosen for the Dog Friendliness. I have two elderly wee chi's and they loved it, a nice chilled relaxed atmosphere and they even got two wee pieces of cheese (their fav) 😁 The food was delicious and the service was second to none 😋 Thank you for a lovely lunch xxx we'll be back soon 😀 😊

If you aren't sure just go! You won't regret it, so glad I chose this place, the cakes are absolutely delicious, my favourite was the tropical cake. Cappuccino and latte were great and the host was very nice, attentive and polite, will definitely go back.

My meal was curated. Every element of the Meze was carefully planned, executed and presented in a manner that forced me to stop and study it well before daring to disturb the composition. The couscous, hummus and falafel formed a triangulation of different textures and flavour profiles juxtaposed against Halloumi to create a nice balance between them. With just the right amount of fresh dill and mint, each bite was an epic journey across the taste map of my tongue. And the salad? I don't have a lot of time on my hands but am blessed with an eye for detail, and this salad was a motherf*ckin symphony!
Look at the picture. Do you see those carrot ribbons? And the rocket? They compliment each other in terms of firmness. This salad was colour theory in a bowl tossed with food science. A lot of people think you can just throw some lettuce in a bowl et voilà, but nah. Tenderstem, mango, tomato, seeds, pomegranate, rocket, purple cabbage, carrot ribbons, pickled onions, lemon juice, sugar and secrets masterfully added in just the right amounts. I'm dreaming about that salad tonight. I won't even try to recreate it, I've got to study it at least a dozen more times.
The owners care about what they're doing. It comes out in the skilfully crafted food and well-thought-out atmosphere. If you're a creative with a blockage, come here. If you're looking for a bite to eat, come here and be inspired.

Perfect stop-off for lunch. We’ve been keen to try out the menu for a while and we’ll definitely be back. Delicious food and great cuppa’ coffee. Thanks for such a warm welcome!

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a late lunch a couple of weeks ago. Great tasting coffee, we both had the tuna melt and loved the salad that came with it. The member of staff on that day was a really friendly guy too, and the decor is amazingly kitsch! Definitely going to come back when we’re next in the area and have been recommending it to friends ever since!
