Waffle House

Does Waffle House ever not impress? If so, I've never experienced it. This location is a little tucked away and weird to get to, but it was otherwise great. Max (our waitress) and Kyle (our cook) were both fantastic. Friendly, quick, got everything right, and the rapport between them gave us a few chuckles. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms, and the food hot, fresh, and delicious. The only negative I have to say about it was that our bill was slightly higher than normal for our regular dishes, but Max and Kyle explained how the prices were recently adjusted and it all made sense. Even with the price increase, it's still the cheapest delicious meal in town. Maybe Waffle House could share some of that with their hard-working employees? Just a thought. This Waffle House location was as wonderful as the rest. Nothing new there. Highly recommended.

The food was fine. I mainly wanted to come here and talk about the employee that lended a hand during a tough time while I was eating at your restaurant. For some reason unknown, I was started having a panic attack while eating my meal. I felt like I was choking and couldn't breathe. I stepped outside to try and get fresh air. I was noticably freaking out. One of the employees came out and seen what was going on. I truly felt like I couldn't breathe. She had me sit down and talked me through to get me back to reality. I believe her name was Laz , but I could be wrong. I just know she brought me out of panic mode, was very caring, and took her time to calm me down when she didn't have to. She wasn't even serving my table. I have no complaints about my waiter or the food, but this act of kindness stuck out to me more than I can explain. It may not seem like a big deal to other people, but that was one of the nicest things a stranger/restaurant worker has ever done for me. I will definitely come back to this establishment not just because I had a good experience being served, but because you hire caring and compassionate people that do something for their customers that aren't within their scope of work but can still give them a great dining experience.
