It’s always exciting visiting new eateries for the first time. You never know what you will discover. The warm welcome our party received as we entered this restaurant was a great start to a fun lunch. Ascot is a small town in Berkshire about 25 miles west of London. Ascot’s main claim to fame is its nearby racecourse that hosts the annual Royal Ascot events. The Ascot Grill is located towards the center of the town and within easy walking distance of the nearby train station. There is a free parking area both in front and behind the restaurant.
Frank. I went to this restaurant two weeks ago and from making the reservation to paying the bill I thought this place was first class. The food and the service was very exemplary and we were catered for. The lamb steak was and the pork starter were very good and for this restaurant which is grouped with Bluebells (one of the most prestigious restaurants in the area) the meal was good value for money and without hesitation would come back here again. Absolutely brilliant effort by Heather, Loic and the rest of the team there.

We had the most loveliest food we have had for a long time without having to go into London, the pork starter was amazing, so much so we have tried to make it at home and just cant do it! we shared chateaubriande for main that was actually orgasmic, definately recommend it! there were 22 of us and we were loud and demanding, but they were wonderful and were very attentive. But most of all the food was fantastic, definately be going back but as a couple next time!
You must go!!. This is a fantastic restaurant and one that should be very high on everyones list for dining out. It lends itself very well to different settings making it perfect for business lunches or a meal with friends and family. This has much to do with the excellent layout and design which is evident as soon as you first catch sight of the building. I went with my family one Saturday afternoon and we were lucky enough to have the table in the corner which overlooks the kitchen pass which added to the atmosphere and enhanced the experience. The food was second to none, I had the Ascot Grill's classic burger which was beautifully presented and tasted equally as good. The staff were very friendly and attentive with nothing being any trouble at all. I very much look forward to going back there again soon and I can't recommend it highly enough!
Perfection !!. We have been several times to Ascot Grill and it just gets better and better ! London Broiler every bit as good as Chateaubriand ,salads ,veg,fat (proper)chips and mash all perfectly cooked too.The atmosphere created by friendly and not over attentive staff as well as the background music is relaxed and very comfortable .(Love the decor too !)Great wine list ...try NZ Pinotage ..Mmmmm! TOP DRAWER all round !!
DOH. My wife and I have now been to the Ascot Grill a couple of times, once by ourselves and once with a larger group of friends.
On both occasions we had a fantastic meal and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Service as good and staff very friendly.
Looking forward to going back again soon, it's nice to have a restaurant like this in the area and if you are a lover of steaks it's really worth a visit.
Amazing Steak.. We went to the Ascot Grill last night for my birthday and it was really good food. The steak was by far the best I have had for a long time.
The Manager i recognised from Bluebells in Sunningdale (AMAZING RESAURANT) and it turns out that the Ascot Grill and Bluebells are owned by the same Group. Thats explains the good service.

Great Grill. While it is early days for the Ascot Grill (it opened on Tuesday the 8th of June 2010), I wish them every success. The team behind Bluebells in Shrubbs Hill have created an elegant, smart but non-pretentious venue, where the food stands on it's merit. I have been twice since it opened and both times found the food excellent (steak on both occasions). The service is good and I'm sure will become excellent as the team become familiar with their environment and new members are trained. All in all a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
Just popped in for a quick breakfast. Excellent. Very courteous service and the coffee is one of the best I have tasted.
Rarely is a place better than expected, but Ascot Grill IS. This "monster burger" is de-lish-ous, I can't wait to take my teenage kids there for a special treat.

Love this place. Been for brunch and dinner and been impressed every time. Great food and lovely atmosphere to go with it. Staff very friendly and service is quick.
Visited on sunday and fuegos was heaving but ascot grill we walked straight in. The prices arent much more expensive than fuegos and it really is lovely food. Really enjoyed my eggs Benedict royal (smoked salmon instead of ham). My husband had the full English and it looked lovely with decent sausages and bacon!. Didnt leave hungry. Will definitely be back again
Delicious food :-) my boyfriend Jason treated me to a delicious meal here last night for my birthday :-) the burgers were so good (beef burger and fish finger burger) and good sized portion with great helping of extras inside. Can't wait to come again and try the breakfast. Thanks Eva for your hospitality :-)
Superb food in a lovely restaurant. The addition of brunch is superb, really delicious well presented food in beautiful surroundings. The staff are friendly and always welcoming. Special note: try the homemade hash browns... best in the land.
Excellent service. Manager first class! and staff excellent too.! Had a great lunch. Beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Well recommend . Go!!! 10 /10

Lovely food, Lovely staff, lovely environment. Been there on a number of occasions and it has surpassed exceptions every time. and Only reason I dont have a picture of the food is that I devour it the second it is delivered!

Great food, good service and a broad menus. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. The type of restaurant you’d expect in an upmarket place like Ascot.
Love this place. Never had a bad meal....usually take people here when they are visiting. Not the cheapest in the area but it's a great place with excellent service.
