It's great overall, food is good, value too and enough choice on the menu. Service brilliant!..friendly happy, helpful staff! I had the fullish English breakfast with hot drink for just over £9😎👌!!! The room however is very dated, furniture warn, old sticky wooden tables, wall paper falling off at the edges/corners, really needs a modern facelift to bring it out of the... probably late 80's early 90's. Please make use of the views rather than half covering the windows with film. If you need a designer please contact me. Finally in this day and age, particularly with next to no mobile signal at Carsington, WiFi would be appreciated to which they currently have none. Thanks, will be back soon though!

Good place to get out for some fresh air and exercise. Nice flat walking tracks if you have push or wheelchairs. It's not the most scenic of walks around the large reservoir, but it has good facilities. Car Park has refreshment cafes and shops with good clean toilet facilities. Cycle hire, sailing, canoeing, and paddleboarding activities are also available for the more adventurous.

A really lovely friendly restaurant. The food is simple and good. The Sunday roast was delicious. The cleanliness could be a little better but what makes the restaurant one I will keep on going back to is the staff. The lady behind the till in particular and the man seeing you to your seats are super friendly and you are made to feel welcome and like nothing is to much.
