Read a lot of varying reviews, but did not come out disappointed.. Really really tasty.. My chicken tikka karahi and chapati break were amazing. My partners tikka masala was also really good. We highly recommend.
Up in this area for a few days and we were recommended red chilli for the local Curry House. We were not disappointed! Rang for a delivery service and spoke to the friendly and helpful staff including the chef who told us about his amazing fresh pilau rice he'd just made.
Fast service ensued and my god, perfectly hot and tender chicken dishes arrived like straight out of the kitchen. Highly recommend this place. Well done guys x
From the outside you may easily dismiss this place. Inside the resteraunt looks beautiful, clean and fresh. The staff are very well presented in waistcoats. Most importantly the food was really good. The starters were superb. I very seldomly review but this was worth the time.
Shah was the man behind the non alcoholic bar and was very professional!

The restaurant is very clean and tidy. It never seems that busy but that could just be the times I’ve visited.

We went for trekking in Dovedale on a Sunday and by the time we reached back the starting point, it was 4 PM and we were hungry. We did not find any restaurants near Dovedale. When we verified with a woman in the tea shop, she said about the nearby town Ashbourne. So, we went to Ashbourne searching for the restaurant and we found Red Chilli.
Luckily, the restaurant was not closed. It was empty of course, due to the time of the day. There was some misunderstanding initially as our chosen spot was not given as first choice even though the restaurant was empty. But later after asking for the reason, the same spot was provided. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Lamb Biryani, Sheek Kebab and Chicken Tikka Kebab.
Sheek Kebab was delicious and Chicken Tikka Kebab was juicy. Biryani was ok. Except for the initial hiccups we had in the place allocation, the food is good.

The food was absolutely devine...we ordered takeaway to the Ashbourne heights holiday park...it came within 45 mins and was piping hot..the korma was amazing and the vindaloo hit the spot perfectly the rice was just crazy tasty sooo good... next time I fancy camping I'll be ordering again or maybe take a drive to there restaurant.. thanks guys was beautiful
We had a family meal here in December and was greeted with the usual courtesy and friendliness which we always encounter at this restaurant. The food was tasty and generously proportioned. It would benefit from a full bar service, but this doesn't detract too much from the experience.
