Sometimes I with you could leave 6 stars, as the whole experience of visiting and eating at the Tasting Club was exceptional.
Ben and the team have developed a wonderful 10 course tasting menu experience. From the warm welcome from all the staff to finishing with a drink in the garden we totally loved it.
The menu we had was for Summer with lots of nods to classic summer holiday dishes where you transported back on the taste and the visuals.
Cannot wait to go again.

First of all, The Service 3 waitress probably the best service I’ve had in 18 months. Greeting at the door, Happy faces and really attentive. 10/10 for that as it’s not always easy to get people in a rural setting that are as subscribed as the staff here. Secondly the food. 10 course menu all perfectly sized and beautiful complex flavours. Could not complain about any of the dishes but the desserts were the stand out courses for all four of us. Followed by Really Really Good Coffee. Just over £300 for 4 people. One glass of wine and 6/8 soft drinks, Well worth it. The decor is fine but some better surroundings would better suit this level of catering and service, but to be fair they have only been at it 8 months at this location and you can’t get a table for 3 months so the beginning of successful future I think… Will be back

This was our second visit, and it was just as good as the first time.
From start to finish, the dishes were beautifully presented with a little bit of theatre too.
The staff are young and well versed on the dishes they serve to the table.

Now having over ten years of experience cooking in Michelin awarded kitchens around the country, he left his post at previous “Derbyshire Restaurant of the Year” The Lighthouse Restaurant, to set up his first solo venture.

From start to finish the dishes were beautifully presented and the taste sensations just kept on getting better as each course was served.

And the lasagne, dare we say "the best we have ever had".

As good as any Michelin starred restaurant we have been to, if not better.

Delicious food superbly delivered. Wonderfully presented.
Only recommendation would be that it would be a nice extra to be offered a cushion / pad to sit on as the seats are a little uncomfortable for such a length of time that goes with a tasty tasting menu.

The Tasting Club is not just a night out, a meal it’s a whole experience.
The food is out of this world. We have been 4 times now and love it !
The staff are so friendly and are very knowledgeable about the dishes being served.
George of course is not just a fantastic chef but host, always coming out the kitchen to say Hi which goes such along way.
We have recommended the tasting club to so many people who have been and thanked us for finding such a gem.

Wow! Fantastic from start to finish. Competent staff with knowledge of what they were serving and very tentative. Our favourite course changed each time another course appeared. Well done to George and his team.
