Went here with my family and had lovely chocolate fudge, polenta, rose and pistachio and vegan pear and chocolate cakes, iced coffees which were not on the menu and a lovely white tea. I am vegan and they had a wonderful vegan cake and oat milk for my coffee! Only one loo but it's a lovely loo.

Best cream tea in Devon! My friend and I wanted a traditional cream tea and we both have had many over the years. We knew that the tea room had changed owners and had heard amazing reviews so we decided to try it. The tearoom was beautifully decorated, it was very warm and welcoming. The service was amazing and the scones we ordered were incredible, they were freshly baked. The jam and cream were delicious as was the tea, with non dairy options available. The staff were lovely and friendly as well. Come here for the best cream tea in Devon!

The best tea rooms I've been in. My husband and I were looking for somewhere traditional to take a visiting relative from Australia and decided to go here. We made the correct choice! Everything was perfect.

I love cake and I hardly ever find anywhere that serves cake as good as my dad makes but Taylor's have done it! Traditional, delicious homemade cakes that show English baking at its best. I only gave 4 stars just in case my dad finds out and refuses to bake as a protest!

Taylor’s is a great place to stop. It always has a friendly welcome and the best coffees and cakes. If you are in Ashburton then it’s highly recommended.
