Great amount of choices for food. From menu to display and dietary options too. Staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is calm and cozy. There are enough places to sit, can sit inside and outside. The outside area has a nice area that is well covered too.

Great place to grab a coffee or smoothie. They never fail on quality here. My wife and I just went here today for a couple of cold drinks. I would highly recommend! I have not had their food here yet but I will update once I do. They look like they have some really good food options though. I will definitely be trying the eggs benedict.

Friendly staff but unbearably noisy banging crockery, utensils, and grinding coffee. Makes for a difficult time talking, enjoying the atmosphere, and relaxing, particularly if the cafe is also busy.
Food is usually good and enjoyable, especially the burgers and breakfasts.
The summer time hokey pokey frappe is worthwhile. All other menu frappes are basic (pictured) and slightly too watery.
Lots of convenient parking and close to other shops.

While visiting a friend in Ashburton, we decided to have some yummies and knew for sure that Columbus wouldn't disappoint. Sure enough the food was delicious and the coffee, as great. While the wait staff could have been a bit more chipper, its comforting to know that least they weren't faking their niceties. Would recommend!
