My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant quite a few years ago when she was then able bodied, and we enjoyed our meal then. This time she is now disabled and we have have had an excellent meal which we both thoroughly enjoyed. She had the gammon and I had the beer battered cod and chips and it was lovely. Highly recommend. Staff very polite and friendly service excellent

We (family) have enjoyed coming here on a good number of occassions over the years. We have had a number of birthdays here as well. Everyone of us has constantly remarked how good the food is and we have never had anything other than an enjoyable experience. Last night I had the Gammon steak and I remarked about how great the chips were - wish I had the recipe for them and how they were cooked - probably best chips I have ever had. Nothing wrong with service either and plenty of smiles were forthcoming.

No roasts available, however, we appreciate that by 6pm that's not unusual. we had a variety of main courses which were all good VFM. Wine was excellent and our friend commented on how good the beer was. Staff were polite, although could show more attention when entering and leaving the premises, ignored both times. If you want a 5* meal with total service then it's not for you, if you want a pleasant evening, with reasonable food and drink at good prices then it's a great place to try.

Pub was busy on arrival but we were shown to our table quickly. Food ordered at the bar and arrived piping hot in under 10 minutes. Very tasty grub. Will be back.

Very pleasant lunch experience, seamless ordering and polite & prompt service. Food was of very good quality and excellent value for money. We will be sure to return for another work lunch in the future as The Pheasant is very close to our office and extremely convenient. Thanks guys :-)

Came here with my friend and her baby after it being recommended by another friend.
The service and food was amazing! The manager especially was attentive and nothing was a bother for him.
Food was out promptly and tasted lovely. I absolutely would recommended to family and friends and can’t wait to come back!

Arrived to be greeted by 2 wonderful members of staff Steven and Craig lovely smiles warm welcome from both.
Nothing too much trouble lovely food cooked to our requirements
Never felt rushed lovely ambience in restaurant.
Nice Desserts and coffee.
Well done my first visit and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience will return food very good quality cooked well and great value for money.

Have started going for meals recently as my daughter has multiple chronic conditions and rarely goes out. Your food is excellent and affordably priced for a treat out. The staff were friendly and helpful although it was a little understaffed considering how busy it was getting.

A Marston's pub in the middle of a modern shopping centre, business park, and housing estate. Decent food and very good service from smiling staff. Sensible prices for beer... Way better than wetherspoons!!!

Perfectly adequate food for the price. Speedy service and pleasant, polite staff. You'll struggle to find a better meal at this price range in Ashford. Not fine dining by any means, but you get what you pay for and Pheasant covers its area of the market well.
