In my opinion fryfare is the best chippy in ashington, not just because it's the nearest but because the quality is superb. Always friendly staff and if peter is about the friendly hello. Little tip for those wanting cod and chips,get yourself 3 cod bites and chips. Very filling and the best of the cod.

I have been going to Fryfare since I was 25 years old my nana loved the way Peter cooked his fish! Over the years I have continued to go there for, Pizzas, Chippy teas, Meal deals etc etc..... Now I have the pleasure of being a member of staff there lovely people and pleasant surroundings!!!

Have been ordering from here for quite some time now & have never had any complaints with any orders or food..always hot & nicely cooked. For the 1st time an item was missing from the order I placed, but have to say hats off & well done to Fry Fare for their customer care & service.After phoning to tell them about missed item it was delivered in just over 5mins. Thank you ver much from a very happy customer.

I have used this chip shop for seven years when I first moved to Ashington. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. It is always very clean and the staff are always friendly.
