Beautiful river walk with a lovely cafe and kids play area.

Excellent location. And really well maintained. Only issue and not their fault is not very pushchair friendly off the park as paths quite narrow and we have a double pushchair. Bir a beautiful place.

We parked in the main car park and walked eastwards in the sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed it before returning to one of the picnic tables off the car park. There is a cafe but we didn't try it on this occasion.

Lovely walk. Approx 4.5 miles to the estuary from the car park. Awesome for kayaks, with easy get in points.

Parking was excellent and the sight seemed clean and well looked after. Great there's a park there for kids. We went to use our paddleboards and found the water to be quite dirty and had some kids throwing rocks at us.

A great place to walk your dog. Having said that my dog likes chasing birds and there are ducks and ducklings. We live in a beach house and Avian Flu is back with a vengeance, which is why we chose a riverside walk, so my poor dog had to stay on the lead in various places while my friends dog had a ball.
They are now investigating whether humans and canines can catch so beware of ducks, seagulls etc and their pooh.
Now having said that we are going again in a couple of days because it's a fantastic place

Beautiful walk along the wansbeck river , past the lovely Riverside caravan park, called in to the café for a cup of the best coffee I've had . Large play park for the children , enjoyed our day .

Lovely riverside walk, good paved path. Nice diversion if you follow any of the paths up through the wood and follow the tarmac'd path along the top and drop down again.
