Popped in for a quick lunch and we were met with a friendly and cosy atmosphere. The member of staff behind the bar was incredibly friendly and made sure that we were well looked after.
The food was very tasty and I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.

Definitely a great British country pub feel. My son and I had the steak and ale pie and it was absolutely huge!! The staff were friendly and we liked the atmosphere. Got some funny first looks of the "locals" mind :-)

The staff are always lovely and the atmosphere is always good, but the Sunday roast left a bit to be desired this time. One bowl of veg for 5 people isn't enough, especially when 1 of us asked to replace their potatoes with extra veg. Not enough gravy for each person either. Had the lamb and it didn't feel like the best quality meat in the world.

Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and food which is beautifully cooked and superb value for money. We visited with our adult son. He and I had the all day breakfast and we both rated it the best we have had. Loads of it and no compromise at all on the quality of the ingredients. My wife had the curry and was equally enthusiastic. We'll be back.
