Lovely old country pub, the food was tasty and the service was great, the staff and owners were very friendly and created a great atmosphere. Well worth going for a drink or dinner, they'll make you welcome. Very dog friendly too!

Wonderful pub that has an area for everyone. Great character and fire inside, outdoor bbq and bar areas. Places for kids and a duck pond with tables overlooking it. Good choice of beers as well.

Popped in on off chance passing through
with my brother, we both had burger 🍔, very nice. Would definitely go back.

Popped in as we were passing and fancied a quick cold drink. Lovely atmosphere so we stayed for a meal which didn't disappoint.

We joined a few friends for lunch today at the seafood bar.
What outstanding service and food!
The entire lunch experience was exceptionally good.
You can see the owners have put their hearts and soul into getting this right and done a magnificent job. This was our local back in 2003-2018, but we will make the effort to return frequently.

Best pub in West Sussex. Paul McCartney was right to turn this little enclave into a piece of history. The owners are so friendly and hosted our Sunday-debrief after our wedding and couldn't have made us feel better. Loved it all.

Fabulous Fountain! We’ve found a spectacular new local!! Beautiful old pub, lovely gardens and outdoor eating zones. All the staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. Chicken wings were great and good value. The sharing roast for 2 (pork belly, steak and chicken was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Crispy roasts as they were served separately. Can’t wait to go again and bring family and friends

Great atmosphere, very pleasant and attentive staff, best ploughman's lunch in many years, nice pint of Harvey's and very easy parking.
