We stopped off here during a cycle ride on a very hot Sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly and very chatty and interested in our ride.
We didn't have to wait long to be served our food which was good and not expensive. We will definitely be dropping in again next time we are in the area.

Just a good place to stop for lunch, afternoon tea or whatever takes your fancy. Busy but had enough tables inside and out. Food nicely presented and sufficient quantity.

Lovely little place, with a nicely stocked farm shop with everything from meringues, wine and honey to household cleaning products. In the restaurant itself there is a separate shopping area stocked with some very stylish household furnishings, there is a great selection of food and drinks on offer including roast dinners, one massive plus is the all day breakfast! Tables and cutlery were all very clean and waitresses were all friendly and very quick with service.
Also Bathrooms were cleaned to a high standard, I would happily recommend this place.
Fantastic breakfast, faultless every time, no where does it better, the sausages and bacon have so much flavour! Cakes are super! Really friendly service, and very accommodating. Super dog friendly too.
The wood burning stove gives a warm impression when you walk into the restaurant but in reality it was on the chilly side when we got seated; it's a very large restaurant! The "ample breakfast" was lovely & well cooked. The staff were friendly & helpful. We enjoyed three hours there and gradually the place warmed up as lots of "Christmas Party dinners" turned up.
Best gluten free scone I've had in ages! Lots of gf choices, lovely staff and a great place for a mooch.
Had a good breakfast made a couple of swaps to which there was no issue. Great staff and good food in a nice location
