Having not been in here for years it was recommended by a friend.
Fantastic food, we booked a buffet for a wake and the food quality that far exceeded our expectations!
The staff were superb and caring on our sad day.
Would heartily recommend.

Came here with a friend and the food and service was 10/10. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We both had the Steak and Ale pie and it was delicious. We will definately be back.

Just visited here and had a great meal and great Guinness will definitely be back good portion sizes and lovely staff and customers. I’m as full as a bandits rifle 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
First time visiting today and have left very impressed. We had a booking for 4 adults & my little boy. The staff were incredibly accommodating. They took our drink orders quickly, with another member of staff checking we’d had our order taken also. The food arrived quickly and was lovely. We had beef & lamb roasts which we all said we’d be back for again. Great portions and was clearly all home cooked. My boy loved his pizza. Staff asked several times if we needed more drinks or sauces etc. The highlight of my experience was how lovely the staff were with my boy. After demolishing his pizza he wanted to roam around and the staff were very polite about this, paying him lots of attention which he was smiling about :)

STAY AWAY from this place. Food was superb, service great, definitely going back and don't particularly want to be turned away if its fully booked.

I visited this pub on Thursday over the years I've been when it was the Road Inn. How it's changed. Very welcoming, comfortable and good food. The staff on Thursday were second to none. Efficient, friendly and helpful. Only one slight grumble,,,please do a smaller portion😁
Excellent service, excellent food and excellent value for money. We clocked up with our booking, so we were over an hour late, but it wasn't a problem. Very accommodating and our dogs were well treated also. Highly recommended 👍
Decided to chance it without booking. It was very busy & the music was a little loud as we walked in. However, we managed to get seated by lovely staff & the music didn't seem as loud there. Everywhere appeared spotlessly clean & the food smelt delicious. The decor was chic & the ambience was cosy yet comfortable. Communication was top notch & despite being told that service may be delayed for 10 minutes due to a very large party that had arrived infront of us, we were served quite instantly. No sooner had we ordered & our starters were served & drinks were offered at the correct intervals. The cauliflower starter was out of this world & piping hot. The garlic bread looked & apparently tasted amazing. The portion sizes were perfect! Onto mains & everything about it was perfect. The time served, the portion size, how it was cooked, the temperature & presentation. It truly was faultless & we would love to visit again.
