Just look at this Naan, I always ask for plain well done, then you get the bubbles ! Food is always excellent, we always go for the Sunday afternoon special great value at only £15.99 for four courses, just a couple of us or big family occasions, superb service and great atmosphere.

The best Indian restaurant we have been to. We have been coming here since it opened and the standards remain the same. Food is great and so is the service. The staff are friendly and always helpful.

We've been to Rama Spice several times since it opened and the food has always been good and reasonably priced. This time our group of three people ordered a platter of vegetarian starters for 2. It was plenty for all of us. The main courses were nicely spiced and the garlic naan and garlic rice excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. Our only quibble is that with hard floors, walls and ceilings it is sometimes quite a loud restaurant. But we definitely look forward to returning.

Visited here on a recommendation,Sat and booked ahead for 4 adults at 630pm was quite busy on arrival both inside and take aways, became much busier whilst dining so understand why having to book . Shown to our table straight away and served with drinks with immediate effect. Gave us all time to view the extensive menu and what a selection spoilt for choice whether it be meat , vegetarian, chicken ,seafood dishes and great selection in menu for children. Order taken and first up was the Poppadoms which were crisp and relishes were fresh and all delicious includes( one very hot one ) Starters were all amazing presentation and flavoursome consisted of Onion bargees ,meat samosas, chicken pakora and a garlic chilli chicken (hot)all empty plates and portions are good and value for money, a great start so could not wait for the mains and we'll what can I say that again did not disappoint mains consisted of Lamb byriani with a madraa sauce ,king prawn byriani with veg sauce ,chicken bhuna ,rice and lamb karahi with chips along with chapati's and rumali roti (first time of trying) was really good 👍 Highly reccomend this place for management that care, ask how your experience has been as they noted new faces, which is a very nice personal touch. Service, employees , atmosphere and food were all second to none we all will be returning very soon thank you

This is a 4.7 star review. 🌟 A real taste of Indian cookery and cuisine. Very good Vegan and vegetarian selection with a range of gluten free dishes. I initially reviewed this restaurant after ordering a takeaway several times. My experience was positive, the food was delivered in a reasonable time frame, it was hot, fresh and tasty. The staff on the phone were very knowledge on the menu and paid special attention when they knew I was ordering vegan food. I have since been to Rama spice on a number of occasions to eat in the restaurant. The restaurant is easily accessible off a Main road and next to a train station. It does have a small number of parking spaces next to the building but they are often taken, this is not really an issue as the train station has a large car park (I think they are intended for rail users but I have never had an issue parking there) The restaurant is clean, toilets are clean and the decor is good. It is equipped with a bar and small waiting area. The bar is well stocked with beers, IPA, ciders, spirits, wine, cocktails and mocktails. The Restaurant has a 5 star hygiene rating (at time of review) The food is brilliant and fresh with a wide choice of dishes. They have pleanty of Vegan and vegetarian dishes. My personal favourite is the the chana masala (chickpeas) and I ask for it hot despite being advertised as a hot dish as hot is subject. The samosa chaat starter is also a delight and I recommend this starter. On my last visit I had Cobra small batch IPA which was a nice change and a nice pint. They do sell cobra larger too which is my usual choice and always a good pint. I once tried a house red wine but I wasn't too keen on it. The staff are friendly and polite, the experience of the chef really comes through in the dishes I have tried. The pricing is probably slightly higher then some other local indian restaurants but you really do get what you pay for and I think its reasonable for the quality and service. Overall a great place and if your in to Indian food then I would recommend this place.
