I managed to beat my anxiety and I stopped by for a rainy day hot chocolate. The extra smarties were a happy treat! As we're the ladies serving. Great place to catch up with friends or for a business meeting. The building itself is beautiful with some stunning original features.

Lovely pub, stunning building, well-maintained beautiful interior too. The food was brilliant value and we had good sized portions. There was ample choice on the fixed menu, which was £7.49 for one course and £9.79 for two. The desserts were delicious.

Three very nice 3 course meals, at a reasonable price.
Unfortunately (for us) there was an important football game and, a lively crowd enjoying the match. Once they left, the atmosphere was much quieter.
We would return but, not when the football might be on.

Always have a fab time here.... The wife enjoyed her Chicken, Bacon and Avocado salad and the Chipotle Chicken baguette is so good especially with sweet potato fries!! The staff are lovely and welcoming and are really good with my two boys! Has a lovely time when meeting up with my father in law before he jets off and Chris even gave my littlest lad an activity pack for Easter !!! Great food and prices and amazing staff !!! Absolutely gorgeous food for a birthday treat day out for the father in law. Curry was amazing as always and the chicken burger looked so good the mixed grill was huge all perfectly cooked. Regularly dine here, lovely atmosphere and pleasant staff. Thank you 😊

Although very busy, the service and food were great. Servers very polite . There was a wait for our food but not unreasonable due to volume of customers.
Improvement - toilets downstairs as our older members of the party struggled to get up the stairs.

We went for brunch and had a veg English breakfast and some deserts. It was delicious.
Also cozy atmosphere and a good price.
Sure we will return.

Service was excellent by bar and waiting on staff.
Roast chicken dinner was lovely, hot and well presented. My one critique would be the three, extra small, frozen roasties me and my partner received on our plate. Roasties are considered the best part of a roast meal and this was disappointing but hopefully this feedback is considered as what could be improved. Thank you

Absolutely loved it!! Spoke to a few locals very friendly warm and welcoming. Extremely clean and highly recommended! Beautiful inside and out. We will be back that's for sure. Check it out for yourself you'll be telling friends snd family about this little gem

I liked Fairfield Arms already from outside, when we drove around and loved it so much that I had to come closer and also go inside.
I enjoyed my visit, nice Xmas decoration, atmosphere, dinner and drinks that I had to come also next day for a lunch during my stay in Manchester.
The food was amazing, tasty and very good looking on both days.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and make me feel very comfortable and welcome.
