Just called in on the off change we would get a table and we did. The waitress when asked gave us the best choice on the menu and we both went for the ribeye steak with chips and side salad and sauce off your choice the meal was excellent steak was cooked just right and the service we got was great. Will definitely be going back great place to eat

Our favourite date night place love it here. We brought our 8 yr old son yesterday and the waiter was shocked that he'd ordered a T-bone 😂 He ate every bit including starters and dessert. Needless to say it's his favourite place too 🙈😂

A stop over to visit Moor Hall but the manager? was friendly on both entry and exit. Nice room and comfy beds with a great shower. We didn't eat due to booking the hall for both lunch and dinner but the smells from the kitchen made us wish we could have fit a meal in.

Myself and my fiancée had a meal for her birthday on Saturday night and it was fantastic. We arrived early for drinks in the bar which was no problem and when it was time for us to be seated we went straight to our table. The food,service and atmosphere were all brilliant. Our waiter was first class as were all the staff we dealt with,the speed of the food coming to our table was very impressive and without cutting any corners in regards to quality of food and then the food itself was absolutely excellent. We both had a wonderful evening and we can't wait to come back.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon and availed of the three-course set menu for £17.25. Salt & pepper calamari with garlic mayo for starters, 10oz rump, fries, onion bread, beef dripping, beef tomato and skinny fries for the main, and chocolate profiteroles with salted caramel for dessert. Unbelievable value! It was a fantastic meal. Our waiter was great company, a lovely mix of humour and professionalism. Can't fault our evening's experience.

It was a surprise for my birthday off my partner. When we walked in we were greeted. The room no7 was lovely and clean and nice and bright.we went down for our evening meal and on the table they had written happy birthday on a slate.its the little things you appreciate. The food was excellent and very reasonable. Breakfast was also excellent with excellent service from Louisea and the chef Simon. We will definitely be back and try the lunch menu as that looks very appetising and reasonable. 10 out 10 really recommended it .

Another great evening at one of our favourite restaurants. Anna was the perfect hostess. Rump steaks beautifully cooked - we went for medium. Will be back - as soon as we can. Highly recommend!

Birthday lunch today 2 Courses from the Lunch menu. Fabulous food hot fresh and delicious. Cocktails amazing. Friendly excellent service by the waiter Alex nothing was too much trouble for him. Above and beyond will definitely be paying another visit.

Just been there for our Anniversary. Time about 3.15. Lovely and quiet. Nice setting for the restaurant. I had chicken, with dauphinoise potatoes and broccoli, My husband had steak with chunky chips for our main meal after baked cheddar mushrooms for starters. Thoroughly recommended. This was on the early bird menu.

Last minute decision to have lunch and this was the nearest restaurant ro where we happened to be, no problem getting a table and the service was excellent from start to finish, especially Reanna, she was very helpful and friendly. The food was all delicious, the only small issue was the pumpkin on the warm salad wasn’t cooked for long enough and was a bit hard & no avocado on the plate as stated on menu. But that didn’t detract from a great lunch that was definitely value for money!

We had lunch at the restaurant today to celebrate our daughter’s earlier Masters graduation. The food was excellent but I must say that the service from Alex our waiter was absolutely first class, what a delightful and courteous young man who really made us all feel so welcome and could not do enough for us. I was in retail management for over 35 years and I most definitely know what great service looks like and I got that today. Try and keep hold of this young man, he has talent and is the future. Thanks again.

Well, they told me that the A Team were working the lunch shift at the local Miller and Carter Steakhouse today. So I popped in to see what the fuss was all about, and promptly got spoilt rotten by a very well mannered young fella named Tom, (who looked a little bit like Don Johnson from Miami Vice) in a very classy silver grey suit. He introduced me to a tall, dark Latvian chap named Karlos (and I immediately remembered why all the girls go giggly and tongue tied at the mere mention of his name 🤦‍♂️). But what a gentleman he turned out to be. He had a word with a delightful young lady named Faye, the third member of the weekend A Team, and between them they fixed me up with a stunning Crispy Fried Squid, with oak-smoked garlic & lemon aioli dip, which really hit the mark. So, I was on fire now, and Chef Lucas didn't disappoint me with his signature 50 Day Aged Black Angus Rump Steak, served with a cute little onion loaf, balsamic-glazed tomato, and some delicious seasoned fries. Must be 'spoil the customer day' at the Aughton Branch today, and I felt proper duly spoilt. Lovely feel about the Aughton Branch, big enough to find some privacy but intimate enough to be only a nod and a wink from your hostess. Great atmosphere. And only a mile from where I live. Might make 'spoil the customer Saturday' a regular event from now on. Thank you to the A Team. God bless 'em. FIVE STAR PLUS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+
