We found this gem of a cafe while on one of our walks while on holiday (just over a mile away). It’s off the main road but it’s location and panoramic views are well worth the detour! Loads of outside seating is available to enjoy the vista. It is just SO peaceful. I’d like to bottle it and take it home! Do check opening times here as we were hoping to come on Sunday when, unfortunately, it was closed. I enjoyed a sandwich while hubby tucked into a ploughman’s. Both were amazing. I forgot to take photos though🙄. We then had cake🤗 you must come here to try the hummingbird cake-it was excellent. We did a 7.5 mile circular walk to enjoy our time at the cafe. Whatever you’re doing in this area make the detour to try out the tea room. Location, food and staff are all lovely!

Quirky little tea room at the end of a beautiful walk. Stunning views over the rolling countryside. Excellent coffee and delicious homemade made cakes. The young lady serving was friendly and jovial. We highly recommend it.

Very friendly welcome. Visited with friends and their dog after a walk. They had been before and I was pleased they shared this little gem with me. I enjoyed a baked potato and they opted for cooked breakfast.

Fantastic location with wonderful views. We had a cream tea which was very nice. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We are staying at nearby Monkton Wyld caravan park, so we will be going back for breakfast soon. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to go for a light lunch. Owner herself makes the lunches and bakes all the cakes we saw . May even go back tomorrow before we leave the area. We'll done....hard work but it is worth the hard work you put in.

Delicious bacon sandwich for lunch. Bread was lovely and plenty of bacon. Gorgeous spot with views to die for. Well worth the small detour off the main road

An excellent place to take children, with plenty of toys and outdoor space. The ice-cream is delightful, great customer service. We'll definitely be visiting again soon.

Nice food, although a little pricey. Quiet setting with lovely outdoor views. A couple of inside tables and a couple of tables under gazebos. We went on a sunny day in April, but it was a little chilly. Dog friendly. Off the beaten track....watch the potholes on the approach road!!!!!!
