Great Western Arms Aynho - Aynho - Photo album

We happened on this pub while on a long car journey, set close to the bridge over the Oxford Canal, close to Aynho. There's a good sized car park and inside it's modern country style decor. Very friendly staff and clearly popular with locals. We only stopped for a beer and a coffee, but the food off
We took the detour on our travels for lunch based on Google reviews and were not disappointed. A very broad and interesting menu, including smaller plates for those seeking lighter meals, and all cooked to perfection and served with a smile by our attentive host. And such a great location, set betwe

Visited today, at lunchtime, to try the GWA for the first time. Service was extremely prompt and friendly. Choice of food was exceptional. Quality and taste was superb, plus they served rhubarb crumble which is a personal favourite. Will definitely recommend and visit again.
Went here for an evening meal while holidaying on the Oxford canal. It's a lovely traditional pub, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Very dog friendly too!

We had lunch at the Great Western Arms and it was very good. All fresh made. Try the homemade burger and also the 'duck fries'. Pub has good and friendly atmosphere and staff also very friendly. They also have a nice garden to sit in
Stopped by when taking a week's cruise on a Narroboat. Used to occasionally stop here for lunch when travelling to the west country to visit relatives, so it was a it of a trip down memory lane for me. The food was ok, service relaxed and pleasant. Would stop by again if in the area.
What can I say? Wonderful meal , the best fish and chips and the pork fillet were devine. The staff Alex and Tabitha were great hosts. Thank You
Brilliant gastropub. Surprisingly good value, barely more expensive than other nearby pubs but miles better quality. Dog friendly in bar area and garden.
Taken over by new management. Pleasant place, good and dog friendly. Food is reasonable, outside court yard and has covered area too
