My family and me are just back from Frankie and Benny's in Ayr, having been to celebrate my daughters 8th birthday. Everyone had a great time, the service was tremendous, the food was excellent and the Irish waiter was yummy.
we visit this restaurant every year to celebrate the kids birthdays and we have never had a bad work to say about any of our experiences there. My daughter had a great birthday and it was topped off by a fabulous dinner at Frankie and Benny's.
Food was reasonably priced and excellent quality. The dairy free ice cream in the kids sundays was pretty disgusting though, and there wasn't an option to have normal ice cream. Service was quite slow considering it was quite empty but the staff there were all working quickly. Would still go back.

Great Service & Tasty food. Could do with the heating being turned up a bit though.. quite cold for customers and food doesn't stay warm long..

Had lunch today with my friend and 11 month old son. Food was lovely and great value for money. Service deserves a 10/10 as the staff couldn't do enough to ensure our visit was pleasant and enjoyable. Most of the customer service came from a very friendly and helpful Irish gentleman who couldn't have been nicer. Great place to eat for a family friendly and fun meal out. Will be sure to visit again soon.

Great food, great atmosphere, and good service. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The food can always be relied on to be good however on this occasion the fish and chips was served with a very small portion of fish. See delicious as always but very small, like a half size portion other than that the entire visit was first class.
A lovely, lively, friendly welcome, with excellent food choices and welcoming, cheerful service. But by 30th December, it is time to RETIRE the Christmas CD!!!! Please?!?!?
A group of us arrived for a late breakfast. Warm welcome and excellent, friendly service by Jade and especially James, a witty young Irish man. Breakfast was freshly served and didn't take long to arrive.It was very tasty. Lots of smiles and attentiveness made for a relaxing time, even if it was just for breakfast!
Always a warm friendly welcome when we come to this restaurant. The manager James always goes out his way to greet us. His staff look after us. There is never a problem with our food, we have a 1 year old daughter and the will sit us anywhere we ish to accommodate.

Food is good and price is alright if you go at the right time but the poor staff are run of their feet. The manager comes across as very inexperience or not too confident but this I feel is due to the expectancy of the chain itself. 3 staff to run a fairly large branch doesn't work well.
