Everything about our take away meal was awesome, from the guy taking the phone order to the smiley face on our boxed meals. Definitely best take away burgers in Ayr for price and food was amazing, thank you, we will be back😁

After a long day of driving, a pub meal is really what you need. We ordered the lamb shanks, and the ribs n rump. They were juicy, full of flavor, and very generous portions. A cold beer to wash it down was the cherry on top. Highly recommend.

We are travellers passing through and this was was great find. Great service, great food, great prices. Where else can you feed a family of 6 for $75. 5 stars.

I have been coming to Coutts Tavern for approximately 8 years now and my experience has always been a great one! From the excellent food to great customer service, I have always enjoyed my visit to Coutts Tavern Ayr.

Beautiful food and lovely staff. We had a beautiful impromptu meal here. Felt bad because we showed up about 10 minutes before kitchen close but they were very nice. The bar area did smell very strongly of stale ale. But in the restraunt area at the back you couldn't smell it.

Cool cold beer Tiffany Mel and Steve go out of Thier way to make you feel welcome as do the team very friendly and flexible staff never a drama the grazier pie it yum it's now my local.

With short notice for dinner with a friend thought we’d go to the pub, now don’t get me wrong, our waitress was wonderful! But when the meals started coming starting with garlic cheese bread, it was also smothered in bacon, call me picky but if I wanted bacon I would have asked for it, could not taste any garlic but the oil was dripping out of it and running down our arms, tad too much CHEESE. The meals finally arrived 40mins after ordering, and it wasn’t busy, the steaks were so small on a very large plate, however if they had of been hot as well as the enormous amount of cold chips, cold gravy, just lost all of our business. For what we paid we expected that at least you could have enjoyed some part of it but alas we didn’t. Pretty poor, Know where to go next time !!!!!!
