It was within walking distance, prices were very reasonable but the food was outstanding!! Very delicious and very Italian. Mario was very gracious and personable. Best food I've eaten since being here in England.

We have been to Mario's several times and have never been let down by the food choices, taste or quality. Portions are very generous and the dishes are very authentic. The building was a tad cold, but we were there just after opening, could have done with the heating on an hour or so beforehand to feel a tad more cosy.

After a busy day at work I ordered a takeaway from marios, it was only a 20 minute wait, I was offered a complimentary drink while I waited and the food was lovely � Would recommend for takeaway or to eat in.

Great food as usual. Mario and Michael were in the kitchen and I thoroughly enjoyed the black pudding following by sea bass and spicy rice. Got to be good I go at least once a week. Unlike another Italian restaurant in the area this is authentic as a diner is given time to enjoy the meal and take as long as they want between courses. Real Italian dining experience.
