Kingly organised and delivered an afternoon tea box for me for a birthday treat to my father-in-law. Food looked good on delivery, was tasty and plenty enough for two, with left overs for later. Thank you very much!

Lovely little friendly place, the food is amazing especially the Cottage Pie, that's my favourite, also the pizzas are better than any takeaway.

I had the best vegan full English here I've ever had. My non-vegan friend had a very substantial sandwich and said she couldn't think of anything better. I wished I'd had space for vegan pistachio carrot cake but the breakfast was very filling. (I had a sneaky taste of my friend's and it was fabulous). The service by the gorgeous Libby was really welcoming, friendly and professional. This place is really great value for money. The cafe is dog friendly too. In fact, nothing not to like about this place. I loved the bits of humour in the loo. It's definitely worth a drive to Annas but book beforehand just in case. I will absolutely be a regular here.

Lovely little cafe/restaurant/pub. The food options lean more towards that of a restaurant, there's not many little bites.
Plenty of options for all, and even dogs.

Really nice place with lots of great vegan options!
Quite small so we try to visit mid week when we can go with the baby!
Dog friendly with a dog menu too which is great!

What a find! Had an unexpected break from delivering locally, and stopped in for a cappuccino and had a bacon & egg muffin - both were gorgeous, and the food was obviously locally sourced. Anna is clearly very proud of her cafe, and rightly so! Highly recommended. Lovely decor, unintrusive music, and friendly staff.

Wonderfully quirky little place, with lovely, friendly staff, great food and excellent value. We had the veggie breakfast for brunch, and wished we had enough room for the yummy looking cakes! Will definitely return next time we're up there.

Great gluten free menu!
Just discovered this place when looking for somewhere to eat in Bacup. The place is lovely and the staff are helpful and friendly. My husband is coeliac so is used to not having much choice when we go out to eat. Anna's was great, a whole gf menu with plenty of choice. The food was really good. My little girl wanted a big sandwich and boy did she get one. Really thick sliced bread filled with yummy looking ham and no scrimping on the cheese.
My only downside is it did take a long time for the food to come even though the place was quiet when we got there.
We will definitely come again but next time we will make sure we have plenty of time for the food.

BREAKFAST REVIEW:
Anna's Cafe-Bar-Convenience
Burnley Rd, Weir
Another first for me this morning, a visit to Anna's Cafe-Bar in Weir. I've drove past Anna's loads of times, so today, braving the snow and ice and in the company of my good friend Bev Armitage we visited for a late breakfast.
It's a quirky little place with a friendly welcome and loads of character. We chose to sit upstairs which we had to ourselves and had the choice of three menus: a vegan menu, a gluten-free menu and thankfully a "normal" menu.
Choosing from the normal menu we both opted for The Full English Breakfast, mine with a pot of tea and Bev had a cappuccino.
Our food was soon brought up and everything looked great.
I started in on the sausages first, which the menu described as Butchers Own, they were abdsolutely delicious, I meant to ask who supplied them but it slipped my mind.
The bacon was really good too, nice and thick and not overly salted, cooked perfectly, just enough to render the fat crispy without burning the meat.
There were ample mushrooms which were tender and juicy and the tomato was fresh and nicely grilled - just the one half - I think Bev had other half.
The black pudding was a good thick slice and tasted like a Bury pudding , so no complaints from me there.
The beans were served in a ramekin and as the plate wasn't warm I didn't tip them onto my plate. They tasted good though and I suspect they were Heinz.
The toast was farmhouse white served with Lakeland Irish Butter, and the sauces were Heinz served in their bottles.
All in all it was a really nice breakfast, good produce cooked really well and served by a friendly helpful waitress in a delightfully quirkly little setting.
I would definitly reccomend visiting Anna's Cafe Bar, Weir for a Breakfast.

The Cafe was a suggestion from my colleague who's local, warm cozy feeling place. My colleague and me had a breakfast here, it was amazing, freshly cooked. I had the vegetarian full English, absolutely fab.
