Didnt go in any rooms but had a drink and very nice drink to service very good friendly and welcoming. Beautifuk surroundings lovely people and area stopped of here on the way home amazing little pub next time i buy food and drink and would have a nice relaxing meal thank you for the lady that served me very friendly and genuine welcoming

Perfect English pub in the beautiful town of Bakewell. After a 3 hour drive, this was a great little oasis with cheerful bar staff enjoying friendly banter with the locals!
I also got a compliment on my Genesis tour shirt so I was well chuffed!!

We came as wife and husband and we were very warmly welcomed. Our room was comfortable and just perfect for what we needed.
The staff were very friendly and made us feel 'at home' there is parking nearby available but just ask at the bar and they will direct you.
Food was really nice and good value for money. A real cosy atmosphere.

Staff were very friendly n helpful. Food is the cheapest in Bakwell n you get your money's worth. Took my 3yrs old grandson who actually stayed seated for once. That says it all for me..got to visit

We had our wedding reception/ meal here on 29th Dec 2022. We couldn’t have been happier!
The food, the staff and the service was all perfect.
We had 24 people in our party and all the food was brought to each table within minutes of each other.
Drinks were served to the tables without any trouble.
The staff were all pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The food itself was excellent!!
Can’t recommend highly enough

Wish you could review the place separately as a pub and as a room. Got nice enough room when we stayed. Had a great dinner and breakfast. The pork ribs are to die for. No allocated parking when we stayed but we asked and was given a suggested place to park. Good breakfast but no menu. I imagine it would be a nightmare for a first time tourist if you don't know what you can order. Overall, great location and lovely place
