I was surprised by the food in this cafe. It was so gorgeous and will be eating there each time I go to Bakewell. Can't recommend it highly enough.
A nice friendly Cafe serving very good Food. The Owner Paul is a fine example for the Town of Bakewell. I would recommend this Cafe to everyone. Arnieman

First time in bakewell, me and wife needed something to eat so we looked around for a good old fashion cafe,we found this place in a small arcade,food was excellent.wife had soup, which was fantastic, I had a ham sandwich and as a bonus it came with a side salad and crisps,which was freshly made.staff was excellent and couldn't do enough for you,also very friendly indeed.would I recommend it well No I wouldn't, why you say ? It my secret place to eat.go on then try it out you wouldn't be disappointed.
Went to Bakewell today couldn't find a cafe that was reasonably priced with good food that would suit my husband, who is vegetarian, every option was cheese or beans. We walked into a small arcade and came across Granby Cafe. We had fresh mushroom and tomato toasties with salad, coleslaw and crisps and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Then cappuccinos that were lovely and hot. The staff were very friendly.
My wife and I popped into the Granby Cafe today for the first time and were bowled over by the friendly welcome and absolutely lovely team led by the owner, Helen. Helen was extremely helpful in accommodating my diabetes despite it being late into the afternoon and close to closing time. I am so grateful for Helen's flexibility; nothing was too much trouble - an attitude I rarely experience with my dietary needs. We were visitors to Bakewell today but know exactly where we will eat when we return. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend the Granby Cafe - a great establishment run by a very nice lady!
I absolutely love this cafe . Had a bacon Brie and cranberry oatcake cup of coffee side salad and coleslaw. It was beautiful
Nice little cafe. Often busy, but when we can get a seat we like to go for food here.
We found this following a walk from our hotel that didn't serve breakfast. This is tucked away in a small Alley. We'll worth looking out the breakfast was good and reasonable value for money. Various options on the breakfast them are available.
Very charming little café. Mega breakfast amazing value. Had 2 Cappuccino's included with the breakfast which is over £5 anywhere else. Not sure why somebody else was complaining about the prices for me Mega breakfast is spot on. When you also consider the good quality ingredients and the friendly service I wish this café was in my town. It's also peaceful here so you can relax and eat in peace. WIFI also free and fast. Will visit again when I am in Bakewell. 😀

An absolutely Wonderful establishment with a wonderful Owner, Helen, and staff behind the counter and on the griddle, always go out of there way to help with our dietary needs, even going above and beyond by going to a local shop round the corner if they need too. Nothing is too much trouble. The food always goes beyond expectations. They also have the patience of a saint when it comes to Children as they’re have been a few times my son has been a monkey whilst we dined in and they have come around from behind the counter to help entertain him and make my life a whole lot easier. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Xx
