Counter order place. Seemed to be an old train station. They even have a train car. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The order was Smoked gammon panini, rosted chicken sandwich 🥪, broccoli 🥦 soup and Cullen skink soup 🍲 . Out the back the roasted chicken had Ingredients not listed on the menu (tomato relish) whish is listed on other items. Server gladly took it back and had it remade. I am not a fan of cold sandwich (Whish is the standard) however the roasted chicken is good well balance flavors. sandwich is very good. The Broccoli 🥦 soup is very good however I could hardly taste the Broccoli. The skink soup is good. good chucks of haddock and potatoes 🥔. Keep in mind is a full dish not a cup like the Broccoli soup. The Gammon panini is great. nice smokiness to it. the tomatoes 🍅 and cheese bring the whole thing together. the overall experience was good. Most of the food was excellent. The least liked dish was the roasted chicken sandwich and Broccoli soup. Would visit again.

Polite and courteous service in a wonderful setting - a re-furbished Victorian railway station, as used by royalty. Good coffee and baking, with a warm welcome!

Best food we’ve had in years and incredible hospitality to match. The food is imaginative, unpretentious and delicious. Ross, Carolina and the team are terrific and so welcoming. The venue is excellent too. Will definitely revisit when we are in the area and truly appreciate the great experience we had for both meals.

Loved everything about this place! Our meal was outstanding, our waiter hailed from Texas, which made for great conversation, and the atmosphere was simply charming. When my daughter requested a non-alcoholic Shirley Temple and the restaurant was out of grenadine, our waiter proceeded to craft her another special beverage that she loved! The Michelin recommendation rating was certainly spot on here!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The food is good, not incredible but fairly priced and generous portions. But the real draw is the beautiful restoration of the building, which retains various features from the Victorian railway - as well as some interesting history. The staff were lovely and very attentive as well - definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

What a wonderful unique place to visit.Beautifully restored and no more expensive than other restaurants. We had great cappuccinos. Friendly service, very civilised ! People probably don't realise there is a restaurant at the old station, shame they can't advertise this better. Highly recommend, you won't forget a visit to this place !!

Lovely atmosphere. Panini wasn't fully melted, but otherwise a nice spot for lunch
