The fish supper from the Chip Stop has many good things about it, the portion, the chips and the service received from staff in shop. BUT, the fish in what can only be described as soggy wet mush masquerading as batter was a complete diaster.
As stated the chips and the portion was perfect, but the 2 six inch fillets were both covered in soggy mush.
To the owner, please ensure the oil is at correct temperature. Otherwise as I've had first hand experience from your establishment the batter will be greasy, soggy and most definitely not crispy.

The chip shop in parkgate was amazing I've been getting out of it the past 5 weeks I would say I know a good fish supper when I taste one and I haven't been disappointed with parkgate yet really tasty good portion fresh and good service.young girl's working there were friendly and efficient getting the food out quickly. I honestly can say it's well worth a try for people looking a treat

I've got out of this chippy and it has been the best fish I have ever tasted in ages and the chips are amazing and so is the burgers 10/10 I would give yous if I could well done on the workers keep it up.
